How's it going, Leonard?
Hey, I'm doing great. How are you?
I'm amazing. So you got a. My notes here say kickboxing Fitness company.
Yes, sir. Yes, sir. We're. We're right in the Houston Medical center, not too far from downtown and not too far from Pearland, Texas, and we're kickboxing, boxing and fitness.
Okay, tell me. Tell me how I can help you.
Well, I'm just looking to try to figure out how to draw more people into us. My biggest thing is I've been dealing with a traditional Facebook ad, and I've been trying to work with people, but the cost is just not effective at all. It's literally hundreds of dollars to try to get the same thing that I've been doing. I've gone and done tables. We had a really nice turnout for our amateur boxing program with the Golden Gloves, which was able to push business up. But I'm, like, less than five miles away from the largest. I think it's, like, the largest medical center in the world. I'm trying to draw those people in.
Okay, so tell me, when you do an ad, what's the headline? What's the ad read?
I think it says, get fit. I think some of our ads may say something like, get fit quick, come and try. Three classes for 9.99. I think that was an ad that we ran once before.
So get fit, quick. Three classes for what?
Nine dollars and 99 cents.
Okay, who is your demographic? Like, who is it that you're targeting?
95% of our customers are women. I would say 90% are women. And then the other five. Yeah, but women. Women mostly.
Now, is that. Is that by design, Leonard? The. Like, it's really not you only letting women in?
No, no, it's not by design at.
All, because I've been to kickboxing here and. Are you single?
No, not at all. Not at all.
I've been to kickboxing here, and it's all dudes. So how are you getting on women?
I just think our program and a lot of our advertising, I can't lie to you, the only customers I really have are women.
What a terrible life you have.
Feel like I'm more of a coach than just pushing, pushing, pushing all the time. I prefer to motivate and keep people on track. And sometimes it kind of dwindles down to me. Like, hey, man, you guys gotta get your ass. Let's go, let's go. You gotta lose this weight. Gotta keep going.
What have you done with Groupon?
I've Done the Groupon, I've gotten maybe like three people. Like what we've done. What was that, 5% off? Like 75 off the unlimited package for a month. I've got maybe three people.
Okay, so what I know with, with gyms in, in my syndicates and friends that own gyms is that those contest pull kind of the best and you can put rules in there. Okay, so let's, let's just talk about. I think you can get 50 people in through Groupon and Instagram in the next 90 days. You're going to run every month you start a new contest. Okay, so you're going to start a new contest every month. The winner of the contest gets all their money back. Okay, so how long should a contest go? 90. Can somebody see dramatic results in 90 days?
Absolutely. Absolutely.
So should it be 90 days, four months, five months? How long should the contest go for?
I would prefer a 90 day. I would prefer 90 days. The longer the contest goes, the more results you're going to see, the more dramatic the results are going to be.
So why would you prefer 90 days and not five months?
I mean, I've just never really done one that long. I don't. I can do five months time. I can do it. But like I said, the longer that they're in it, the more results they're going to see and the more lasting results you're going to get, the longer that you train.
Okay, so if so first of all, they got to be in the top tier, so they have to be in the unlimited. Okay. And then I'm going to do, I'm going to do a little math here. So if they're in the top tier for five months.
179.95 times five is 900 bucks, basically. 899.75. So they're going to get that back. Now the IDEA Here is 1 out of 25 people or 1 out of 20, you're going to give them their money back.
