There's a song on the album called "Peace to Make," and the common thread that all the songs have is like this yearning for like understanding. When I wrote it, I just gotten out of, you know, 4-year relationship, and I was out on my own for the first time really. And they're like kind of exploring that freedom and sadness that comes with being on your own for the first time in a long time. And I think every song there's just like this deep desire for like peace, whether it's the songs where I'm talking about I'm having a great time outside with my friends and we're partying, but then I'm coming home and I'm crying. And yeah, so I think Peace to Make for me is just kind of like I'm just looking for peace in every single song, even if they might be about different things. I think you can hear like the common thread is someone who is clearly looking for some like stability and solace.
Do you think that you found it through the process of making the album?
100%. And I think that the only way I was going to find it was by by making this album.
