What do you want us to walk away from after we hear it? I always want people to feel less alone. I want people to feel seen and valid in their experience. I think that there were angry moments on this record. At the very beginning of the album, you get some anger, and I think anger is a really difficult emotion for me to express. And so when you're listening to God Complex and Kudinot and Bad Sex, I want people to feel valid in their anger because it's okay to be angry. And then, you know, I want I want that to open the door to potentially some self-discovery and give people a space to not feel shame about maybe addictions they've gone through or the fact that they are past the age they thought they would be when they would be married and had a family. Like, I want them to feel valid in their experience.
