Short conversational excerpt from a YouTube video featuring Jonathan Shaw and Chris Collins discussing the current state of society and artistic response. Shaw expresses a fatalistic/apocalyptic view, while Collins urges creative output; Shaw commits to 'cranking out' work and returning to work.
We're living in the apocalypse, man. No matter what point of view you have, of all things.
But no, there. There's no artist stepping up, making fun of it or.
Because they'll get guillotined, man. They'll get shot.
Nobody worried about that then.
I'm not worried about it either. I'm. I'm.
I'm just trying to plant a little seed that it'd be real fun if somebody with your talent just started creating.
I'm gonna start cranking out shit.
Gave a little relief to the bullshit.
You got me.
I'm.
I'm going to work.
Tell the truth.
I'm going back to work.
