New Vegas

Chris Collins ran an invitation-only event in Las Vegas for service managers, the people who touch the most customers but often get overlooked for training. He teaches them mindset, tools, and benchmarking to boost profitability and customer satisfaction scores. Non-invitees can learn how to gain access.

Hey, this is Chris Collins, and I just got back from the invitation only exclusive Top Dog event in Las Vegas with the best service managers and advisors from all over the country.
Oh, crazy is what they think about me Ain't gonna stop cause they tell me so cause 99 miles per hour, baby how fast that I'd like to go can't keep up with my rhythm though they keep trying too quick for the lines they throw I walk to the sound of my own drum it goes, they go, we go.
Now if you weren't invited, stay tuned and I'll tell you how you can be.
It's always puzzled me why service managers touch the most customers and oftentimes produce the most gross, but they have the amount of training than anybody else in the dealership. So what I've created in my role in our industry is to have an exclusive environment where service managers can go feel safe, let their guard down, and learn the best mindset, the best tools, the best leverage on how they can have the highest profitability, the best CSI in their market, if not the country, and be great, powerful leaders in their dealership and really, really thrive and live up to their full potential.
You know, I grew up in the service department, but I've worked every part of the dealership. I've owned a dealership and ran a dealership. And the first thing I noticed when I worked in a sales department is how sexy it is. You know, the sales people, they get to go on trips, they're salesmen of the month. They know every month if they won or lost. It's really fun. There's a lot of high fiving and oftentimes the service department is like they're the stepchildren. Nobody wins or loses, just the guys in the back. It's not any fun. So years ago, we started this software that benchmarks the service advisors against each other. And every month we have winners and the winners get these Bulldog trophies. We give away about $10,000 a month in prizes, but the money is less important than the than the Bulldog trophy. They love that and they win. They know that they're the best of the best. And it creates this competitive atmosphere that's contagious and fun. And we've really found that competition drives performance more than anything else. So let me give you guys some stats that'll blow you away from the first two years that we had the software in place, we had zero turnover in the top part of the competition. Zero. Nobody left. Now, eventually somebody got promoted to a manager and we couldn't say that anymore, but it was dramatic. Now, listen to these numbers. The average advisor increased their parts and labor sales over $47,000 a month, not a year, a month. And their CSI was up over three points. So fun competition, winning and losing. They really took to it and made a dramatic difference. And that's kind of what this event in Vegas celebrates more than anything else. And it's really fun. Now, I know fun and competition and high performance isn't for everybody, and we're not for everybody. But if you do want to get better and you want to compete and you want to be a part of an exclusive group of managers that we call the Secret Service Society that are constantly improving and really have the new stuff that our industry needs, go to ChrisCollinsInc.com and call us or email us and set up a strategy session. And I want to see you get invited to this event next year.
