Excerpt from a YouTube interview titled "Nicole Cooke-Johnson's Superpower" (uploaded Jan 12, 2026) in which Chris Collins and the interviewee discuss the interviewee's naturally positive outlook ("glass half full", "sunshine, rainbows") and how awareness of that mindset became a source of personal power and leverage.
And so did you naturally. Always kind of have a positive outlook.
Yeah, I'm kind of that personality type.
Yeah.
You know, I'm the person that sees.
I got that impression.
Yeah. The glass half full. I see sunshine. I see rainbows and thunderstorms. You know, I'm kind of that girl.
In a sense. Life has probably been easier for you.
Yeah.
Because of that.
Yes.
And then the. The people that don't see things that way are like, oh, she's lucky. They dismiss your success because that's where they live. They. They live in that world of, oh, nothing good could happen. It must be luck or whatever. Right.
And that gives you the power, too. I think that that theory gives you the power to think. And sometimes it is what you think to think that you can control what is happening. Sometimes we like to control it. Right. But it's the process of how do we control it. And I think, for me, when I read this and I learned that theory, I was already doing that, but the awareness of it tapped into. Oh, okay. No, this is my magic, though. This is my power, you know, and it's like, now I know how that's working. I saw it working, or I kind of felt it working, but.
Now I know it's leverage.
Yeah. Now I know how to use it. It's like magic. And now I'm the magic.
