This time on books that changed my life. And I think I was drawn to this book. We talked about COVID art. I had not read Isabel Allende, any of her work, but I had been married to a chef. And here was a memoir with a woman eating food and family photos. And I thought, well, huh. Picked it up. And then I flipped it over and I opened the jacket. And then I know that it's a memoir about her loss of her daughter and the story of the time after her daughter has passed. And she's writing a letter to her daughter telling her everything that has happened since she left this planet. And I am hooked. So I say, give me this book. I'm taking it to Sicily with me.
