In this brief interview excerpt, the host asks Tori Kelly about her upcoming album titled 'God Must Really Love Me.' Kelly confirms the title and is prompted to explain how she arrived at it, setting up a discussion of the personal inspiration behind the album name.
You have a new album coming out.
I do.
God Must Really Love Me is the name of it.
Yeah.
How did you come up with that title?
I was literally just driving and I was just thinking of my son and he had— I think he was like smiling a lot. Like he was just starting to smile and I was just like, man, I am so grateful right now. Like, I've never felt this amount of joy. I was just like on cloud nine on my way to the session. I just— it just dropped into my mind. I was like, man, God must really love me. This is awesome.
