Amy DuBois Barnett left her Wall Street job and rejected the dress code that required hose and skirts. She got a sun tattoo inspired by her mother's scarf as a symbol of the change.

I was working on Wall street at a time when I aged myself here a little bit, but at a time when women were not allowed to wear pants and we had to. Not only were we not allowed to wear pants, but we had to wear hose with our skirts, you know? So the very first thing that I envisioned for myself was not doing that anymore. And I quit that job, and I took off those hose, and I got a tattoo on my ankle, and I was like, never.
What's the tattoo?
It's actually the sun. It's a sun from the inside of my mother's favorite scarf.
Oh, wow, that's cool. So it probably always reminds you of that a little bit, right?
