A founder should build a team of six to ten people with specific roles: operations, marketing, sales, product delivery, customer success, and systems. The founder focuses only on growth and content while delegating everything else, creating a profitable business without operational chaos.

Once you hit a certain level, you want to have a team of 6 to 10 people, and that is the sweet spot for a business. You have real infrastructure, you have roles, and you have real profit, but you're not drowning in the complexity and the overhead yourself. And here is roughly what the team looks like. You have an operations manager who is the EA we talked about earlier, and they run the business day to day. You have someone focused on marketing and lead generation, and you have someone in sales. You have someone who's handling the product delivery or the product distribution and then the customer success. And you have someone managing the systems and the automations. And the key insight is that you as the founder are not doing any of those jobs. Your job is founder-led growth, which is growing the business, posting online, and driving traffic to the business. And everything else should be delegated.
