In this short solo video, the host of the "Win With Webb" channel shares his morning routine and a recent insight from Dr. Keltner’s book on awe and reverence. He explains that he starts his day with inspirational reading, coffee, and a gratitude journal, believing this mix sets a positive tone. He then discusses a passage about how everyday reverence is often expressed subtly—through indirect compliments and polite questions—contrasting it with moments of stress when people tend to be more overt. He challenges viewers to become less subtle and more explicit in showing appreciation for others, inviting feedback and framing the discussion as part of the channel’s collaborative learning ethos. The video ends with a sign‑off encouraging viewers to keep “winning with Webb.”

And they lived happily ever after with all the treats in the whole wide world. Just kidding. Good morning. Well, maybe they did, but here we are, uh, this morning, and I picked up a quote from this book I'm reading by Dr. Keltner and Awe, and it's one I've been reading in the morning, part of my morning routine of waking up and reading for inspiration specifically. So when this book is done, it'll be pencil marked with notes and takeaways that I can look back on, and there'll be a new book, and it's got to have the theme of inspiration. I find it critical to how I start my day to be uplifted. And then in turn, I've got my journal, which is based on gratitude. So for me, my morning routine and what works: inspiration, coffee plus gratitude, mix thoroughly, and you're generally going to have a really good day, or at least as best a possible start to it. But what I wanted to share, and I would love everyone's opinion on if you feel like discussing, uh, the book talks about how, you know, in everyday reverence is subtle, and it's talking about how we shift our speech with compliments, solicitous solicitous questions and indirectness to show respect for others. And reverence is an appreciation, right? It's a part of awe in a way, part why it's in the book, right? It's something that I was just wondering because I feel the opposite. When we've got things that aren't going well, we tend to amplify and, you know, it's kind of the opposite of subtle. So I'm gonna make a challenge out there. How can we be less subtle about the appreciation that we have for others in our lives? Let me know. And in the meantime, we're always continuing to learn. We're continuing to grow. And Win With Webb, what it means is what we learn together, the discussions that we create, and it's that simple. So keep winning with Webb. And until then, have a great day, y'all.
