Chris Prefontaine runs three small mastermind groups for entrepreneurs, each mixing people from different regions so they can't hide behind existing relationships. Members spend 4-5 days together in a house, sharing bedrooms, with 90 minutes each in formal sessions plus informal time by the pool and at meals where real trust actually builds.

As I started leading the first group, I didn't know that it was going to evolve into what it is now. And what it is, it's called the Circle of Trust. And Circle of Trust now is 3 groups, all from different parts of the country. I actually don't allow people from the same areas to be in a group together because they'll— they won't be vulnerable like they need to be. And we actually meet in a house, we stay together for 4 or 5 days. In a house. So we're immersed. There's, there's really, you have your own bedroom, but there's really no escape. And during the mastermind session itself, everybody has about an hour and a half to focus on their life, their business. But it's all of the side conversations, you know, on the beach, at the pool, over breakfast, maybe playing cards at night, whatever it is. That's where people really grow the personal bond so that they Feel like they can talk about anything.
