Chris Prefontaine says start a podcast and interview people in your field. Their credibility transfers to you as you build a roster of guests. Once you've established yourself that way, you can appear on other shows and reference the experts you've talked to.
Everybody wants to, in essence, use you to get their name out there through your podcast. So your imposter syndrome drops away when you're doing interviews because you're not the focus of the authority. You don't have to build that authority because you're getting your guests to come on and they're slowly giving you that authority to yourself. And then you can switch it up and then start going on podcasts and say, Hey, I talked to this guy, or I talked to this individual who helped me do this, this, and that, or has been able to do this, this, and that. And then you start coming off as an authority because you're passing on that knowledge to, to more people.
