Chris Prefontaine says measure success by how far you've come, not by comparing yourself to others. Judy used a positive focus exercise at a Chairman's meeting and recognized her growth over the past year in deals, mindset, and relationships. Prefontaine's framework: identify where you are now, define where you want to be, and examine what's missing in between.

I'd like to see you get into the mindset of your success is measured by where you were to where you are now. All right. Welcome to another Motivational Monday. It's Chris Prefontaine here. I want to chat with you about some things that came up recently at our mastermind group with our High Six group, and that was they were comparing themselves to other people in the group as far as their success, which is a mistake. And they are also comparing themselves and their success to where they are like now. So you might knee-jerk on that one and go, yeah, that's what you would do. No. So here's the deal, guys. Your success has zero to do with where you are now. And your success also has zero to do with where everyone else is. That's a fact. Your success is measured— I'd like to see you get into the mindset of your success is measured by where you were To where you are now. Actually, at a recent chairman's meeting— chairman is a group above High Six. They are students that do deals with us that they don't split deals with us. They just— it's a high-level program. There's about six of them that work with me and some of my dream team members, and they come into my office twice a year. And Judy was there recently, and she came in day two, and she said, "We start our meetings with what we call positive focus." And she said, "Oh, my positive focus is." I sat down last night and I thought, I am so much further ahead in the last 11 or 12 months than I, than I was, you know, a year ago. I can't believe all the things. And it's not just deals. She went on to say it was, it's the mindset, it's the people we've met. Like we had a special guest in the room at Chairman's and his name is Nick Sonnenberg. If you haven't heard of Nick, he's the founder and CEO of Get Leverage. But he also wrote a book that I'm going to recommend right now. It's called Come Up for air, come up for air. Absolutely amazing. So there's some tidbits for you and there's some kind of success measurements for you. I want to also get on your calendar. I personally want to get on your calendar. I want to help you not just learn these things that you're seeing on Motivational Monday, but I want to help you kind of determine where you are right now in your life, in your business, in your entrepreneurial journey, in your escape from a J-O-B, whatever it is, and then where you want to go ideally. And let's rip apart the middle there. There's something going on in the middle. There's, there's some barriers in the middle. There's some skill sets maybe missing. There's some set pieces may be missing. I don't know what's missing, but between where you are now and where you want to be, if you were thrilled to death, you'd already be there, right? So let's make sure we look at that in between. And the best way for me to do that is to get on a private call with you. Yes, I want to get on a private call with you. Just go to smartrealestatecoach.com/action and we'll jump on a call and let's see what we can do to make this year the best year ever for you and your family.
