PadSplit converts single-family homes into weekly-rental rooms. A 4-bedroom house becomes 8 bedrooms in the same 2,000 square feet, letting owners earn multifamily-style income. The company is expanding rapidly, including into Florida.

What we're doing right now is working on a method called PadSplit, which we're doing here in Florida, where we're turning, say, a 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom, 2,000-square-foot home into an 8-bedroom, 3-bathroom, 2,000-square-foot home where we rent the rooms by the week. PadSplit, it's a newer company. I think they've been around for a few years, but it's really, really growing and they're in different markets. So we're starting to utilize that. And that's a single-family housing with more multifamily-like income coming in.
