"Don't force me 🤬" vs $8M Closer🔥😎

Christian Polk handles a prospect who warns against pressure tactics. Instead of pushing, he reframes the call as exploratory, asks why they felt defensive, and suggests that building a business requires uncomfortable decisions. The approach keeps the prospect engaged without high-pressure sales moves.
I am not doing anything today. So no matter what you tell me, please don't force me into a decision.
Not going to twist your arm or anything like that. What makes you feel like you had to tell me that, man?
I mean, it's a sales call, so I might as well just speak up with my intention. And if you do tell me that, man, I gotta leave.
Right now we're putting the cart a little bit before the horse. So it really comes down to like ultimately what the first part of this call is to understand a little bit more about like your situation, where you're at ultimately, like what you're wanting, because especially when we're talking about like building you like your own business, it's going to be custom to you. So we need to know exactly where you're at and what you want before we even get to the point where we're talking about like pitching anything. Does that make sense?
Yeah, I have no issue with that. But at the end, I'd rather not do anything. I get the information you're going to give me. I know you have to know my situation.
Take a breath. Like, it's okay. Like, again, nobody's forcing you to do anything, but especially when we're talking about you stepping in and you becoming like a business owner, do you feel like on some level sometimes we're going to have to do things that we don't entirely want to do if we want the outcome?
That's, that's true. Yeah.
So as long as you're open with that, it's like, let's just have the conversation. Let's see where it goes. But in order for this to be a productive conversation, I can appreciate you came here with maybe a little bit of your guard up, maybe from previous experiences, maybe from other calls that you've had. But if we can just put that at the door and just have an open conversation, like, that's how we can actually help. Is this something you're open to? I don't think so. Yeah. If you're open to it, man, it's like, what even has you looking to open up a facility in the first place?
