When you first step on a call, first impressions are so, so, so important. So if we have a mishap or we come across like we're just trying to chit chat or like trying to be too friendly, immediately they put us in a box versus you. Hop on the call, you know where you're going, you get right into the conversation. They treat you differently like, oh, this dude knows what the fuck he's talking about. This dude means business. Maybe I'm not going to be a giant dick for no reason. You know what I mean? Like you'll have much better conversations when you start it earlier because people do judge books by their cover. People do judge you based off of first impressions. So you just got to make sure you put your best foot forward. Cut out the chit chat, get right into the conversation and just drill it down. Say it confidently and you'll have much better conversations.
