In this video, Christian Polk recounts how he earned $18,000 in straight commission during his first week selling a new high‑ticket offer. He explains that his success stems from two core pillars: (1) a repeatable sales process that he can apply to any product, regardless of price, and (2) deliberately choosing offers that only wealthy prospects can afford, such as high‑end real estate investing or buying an existing business. Polk contrasts this approach with the low‑ticket, “sell to broke people” model, arguing that while the latter may teach sales fundamentals, it caps earnings. By focusing on affluent buyers and high‑value deals, he claims salespeople can dramatically increase their commissions. The video serves as a persuasive mentorship piece, urging viewers to shift their target market and adopt a structured sales framework to achieve similar results.

So I started closing for a new offer in my very first week. I made $18,000 in straight commission, not cash collected, that is commission. I got 3 inbound leads and I closed 3 deals. 2 of those were actually inbound leads. I found a deal in the pipeline if we're just gonna be real about it. Now I'm not talking about selling my own shit and I'm not talking about selling sales training. So how did I do it? I have the skillset and knowledge to no matter what I am selling, no matter what ticket price, I know exactly what that process needs to look like from when somebody comes in, what do they need to see, how the conversation is gonna go and how actually get them across the line. Number 2 is going to be a big one, and this is offer. There is no way that I can be making $6,000 per deal in commissions if I'm not selling something expensive as fuck. Done are the days of taking somebody's last $500 off of them and selling to broke people. I will only ever, and you should only ever, sell to rich people. You need to sell for an offer that just by its nature, whatever it is, if I hear that offer, I need to think, oh, I need to have money to do that. For example, For example, real estate, right? High-end real estate investing. I need to have money to do that unless you're selling wholesaling, which will attract broke people. This offer that I'm on, it's in a buy a business niche. You are buying a business. Well, if I'm thinking, oh, I need to buy a business, well, guess what? I know I need to have money to do so. So I am taking a good chunk of money off of people who already have money rather than objection handling for 2 hours trying to take the last bit of money of somebody who doesn't have any money. So if you want to get good at sales, sell to broke people. It made me really good at sales. But if you want to get rich at sales, Sell to rich people, you'll make a lot more money. Thank you.
