"I can't afford it" vs. $8M/yr Closer

Christian Polk talks a prospect through buying a high-ticket program they say they can't afford. The prospect has $700 on a credit card and $800 in savings. Polk walks them toward a third-party funding option that requires a 680+ credit score or a cosigner.

Dude, you said 8K.
Yep.
I'm not gonna lie. Like, I've seen all these other programs online right now that have like a lower entry thing for like 97amonth. I am nowhere near that. Dude.
Hey, dude, it's okay. Take a breath. Now when you say like you're nowhere near it. Just to see how I can help, man. Like what's actually coming up for you?
I think a credit card with maybe 700 bucks that I can use and maybe 800 in savings.
Okay. No, I can appreciate that, man. Now I know you said. Okay, so we got 97 stuff here, some of the more basic stuff, and then you got like hands on, like one on one help. So if you just put the money aside, like which would you actually choose?
Well, the hands on 101. All day.
Yeah. Why is it all day? Right?
I mean, you've heard the stories. It's like if someone's done it before, why recreate the wheel? Why not just follow what they've done so you can get there faster?
But. But for you, why go all in?
Oh, cuz, dude, I mean, I need to see change. 2026 is coming up and I am not going to repeat the same year.
Yeah. And it's like I. I can appreciate that, man. Now wanting change is very different from doing whatever it takes to get change. Would you agree?
100%.
And money, that's the easy part. We can figure that part out. It's never the reason that prevents people from going ahead and moving forward. Right. What does stop people is their commitment to change. So are you committed to do whatever it takes?
I'm committed to.
So if you're committed, man, help me help you. Okay. Bills, expenses aside, I know you said so we have 800, 700 on a credit card. What else are you actually working with that you can invest in yourself? So that way we can create a game plan to get this stuff figured out.
I mean, I have stuff I could probably sell in Facebook Marketplace and throw.
Okay. Like we can explore that if we need to. Can I share with you what again, most of my successful clients do when they're in a similar situation.
Yeah.
Okay. So it's going to depend a bit on what you qualify for. But what we do have is we do have a third party funding option. Okay. So if you, a co signer or family member, if you have a 680 or above, typically you're going to get approved for that. So what it's going to allow you to do is again, there's no money down and we are able to split it most of the time, like, you know, 12 to 24 months. So that way it's only a couple hundred bucks like each month. And what we're going to have you do is once you start making more, you're going to pay that off early because there's no penalty to pay it off early. Do you think something like that would help you?
I definitely think so.
So if you think that will help you, I'm going to send you over application now. I'll stay on the call to walk you through everything and we'll to see what your different options are. Does that work?
Okay? Yeah, let's do that.
