"I need a guarantee π€π°οΈ" vs $8M Closer πποΈ

Christian Polk pushes back on a prospect demanding a guarantee before paying $25,000. Polk says hundreds of past clients succeeded, and the real guarantee is the client's own work. He reframes the deal: he does the heavy lifting, the client commits and follows the plan.

How is that fair?
What do you mean?
Charging $25K and I don't even get any sort of guarantee this works.
Well, when it comes down to getting a guarantee how it works, we can cover all that stuff. But what makes you feel like you would need like a quote unquote like guarantee?
This is like a down payment on the house. This is crazy to me. I've never really thought this amount of money is what I got to spend here.
Yeah, but does that really matter though? If now we know this is the amount of money that we actually need to spend to get you to a point where we can actually open up our own business and start making the money we're looking to be making. Like, does that actually matter?
Okay, well, if I'm going to make money with this, sure. But that's if it's actually going to work. You're not giving me like some sort of cushion here because if this doesn't work, I pretty much go bankrupt.
We're not going to put you in a position where that happens. But if it comes down to if it's worked for hundreds of other people that we've helped do this, is there any actual reason why you feel like it wouldn't work for you?
It's worked for several people. I mean, okay, that's good.
Why do you feel like it wouldn't work for you?
You just don't know what's going to happen. It's just business.
We're not in the game of predicting the future, man. We'd be making a lot more money if we could do that. It just comes down to like, for you, it sounds like we're feeling a bit uncomfortable because this is something like we've never done before. But we're also looking for a result that we've never gotten before. So is it fairly reasonable, like, if we're looking to get something we've never gotten before, we got to do something we've never done before?
That sounds a good way to put it.
Yeah. Yeah. So it all comes down to how we view this, because if you're just looking about what you put down and what you don't get out of it, we're not going to be much of a help for you. So would you be more willing to actually focus on what we can actually get out of it and coming in and actually putting in the work to make sure that $25,000 actually pays off?
Yes.
Why are you more willing to focus on putting in the work and making sure it pays off, though?
Well, I know I'll put in the work.
A guarantee, right? Some people can spend that amount of money and not do the work. So it's like, why would you be willing to come in and put in the work and make sure it pays off?
It's $25K. I have my back against the wall if I don't make this work. So I have no choice but to.
And it comes down to for you, like, dude, if you come in and you actually follow what we say, we do what we do. We do a lot of the heavy lifting for you. A lot of it's just going to be done for you. We just need a little bit of feedback. If you do that, it's never not worked. The only time something like this doesn't pan out is if you come in and you do absolutely nothing and you ghost us, right? Like, we can't help you with that. So it really comes down to for you, like, are you committed to actually do the work? Come in and make the change?
I'm committed. I'm committed. Yeah.
So if you're committed, like, what do we need to do to make sure 6 months from now we actually have a business that's up, it's going, versus staying in their same situation? Like, what do we actually need to do?
You just got to do it.
You sure?
I'm sure.
Let's go ahead and do it.
