Christian Polk doubled his sales closing rate from 30% to over 70% by stopping the pitch about features and asking prospects instead: who do you need to become? He closed $8M in under four years using this identity-focused approach.

I went from closing 30% to closing 70 plus percent by changing one thing. For years, I pitched like everyone else. Our program will teach you X, Y, Z. You'll get weekly calls, a community, lifetime access. 30% of the time they would say yes. And 70% of the time the prospect will say sounds good, let me think about it. And then it goes. I was stuck at 15k per month and frustrated as hell, taking 8 to 10 calls a day and barely scraping by. Then I realized something. I was selling to what people get, not who they become. So I completely changed my approach. Instead of pitching features, I started asking one question. Who do you need to become to make 50,000 per month? This question shifts everything. Because now they're not thinking about your program. They're thinking about their identity. The version of yourself making 50k per month. What does that person believe about themselves? How do they show up differently? And when they answer, they'll start to sell themselves. They're realizing there's a gap between who they are and who they need to be. That's when I close. Because I'm not selling tactics. I'm selling transformation. And after closing over $8 million in under four years, I can tell you this. People don't buy programs, they buy new identities. And it all started with changing one thing.
