In this sales coaching call, Christian Polk engages a prospective client (Speaker B) who immediately states he will not make any payment during the call. Christian probes the underlying hesitation, emphasizing that his offering is not a one‑size‑fits‑all product but a custom solution tailored to the prospect’s specific situation. He explores the prospect’s mindset, highlighting how the brain seeks information that confirms pre‑existing beliefs—whether viewing the program as a scam or a solution. By acknowledging the prospect’s research and skepticism, Christian attempts to reframe the conversation, inviting openness and a fresh perspective to assess whether the program truly fits the prospect’s needs before discussing price. The dialogue centers on objection handling, mindset awareness, and the importance of discovery before pricing.

Hey man, like what type of help were you looking for?
Before I answer that, I'm not going to do any sort of payment today on this call. Just let me know.
Just so you understand, we don't have a one-size-fits-all. It's going to be custom. Would it help you if I understood a little bit more about your situation to see if this would even make sense to even before we start talking about payment?
Yeah, but I want to let you know ahead of time, you know, just so we can speed this all up.
You seem a little bit hesitant, man. Like what's behind that?
I know this is going to cost some sort of investment. I'd be happy to look at it and see if it makes sense.
We'll definitely go over all of that. But like when you're hopping on to see even if we could help? Like, what's causing a bit of that hesitation? You can be open to me, man. Like, it's just between me and you.
I do research on the programs like this.
You know, you can make suggestions. Sure. The brain's a very interesting thing because it can convince ourselves of basically anything, especially when you have the internet. You can find whatever it is you're looking for out there. You can find 1-star reviews of puppies. If you're going into this thinking like, oh, this is definitely a scam, you're going to find things to reassure yourself. On the other end, if you're looking for like, hey, will this actually solve my problem? And it does, then you'll also find that as well. So for you, Why are we looking at it? Oh, it's just a scam rather than will this solve my problem? Like, why are we looking at it through that lens?
Used to do that.
I have to ask, has that served you though, viewing it that way? Because like those decisions led you to talk to somebody like me, right? So it's like, you know, maybe not the best decisions in the world. Okay. But can we look at this with a bit of fresh eyes of like, hey, we'll go over your problems and we'll just see if this makes sense. And if it makes sense, we'll see how it aligns. Is that something you're up for?
Yeah, you're right about that.
Okay, so help me understand, man. Like, what type of help are you looking for?
