In this recorded sales conversation, Christian Polk presents an $8,000 upfront investment requirement for his program and confronts a prospect (Speaker B) who wants to defer payment until they see results. Polk repeatedly challenges the prospect’s rationale, emphasizing fairness to existing paying clients, the value of the program, and the need to overcome fear. He probes the prospect’s motivations, highlights the inconsistency of paying later while others pay upfront, and ultimately pushes the prospect toward a commitment, culminating in the prospect’s tentative agreement to proceed despite lingering fear.

Yeah. So the investment to go out and get started is going to be $8,000.
How about I make money first? I'll invest the full amount after that. How's that sound?
It sounds terrible, dude. Why would I do that? Well, um, uh, well, help me, help me understand, right? Like, what would make you feel like that's the route we should take?
If it works, why not just do that? You're going to get the same amount anyways.
You tell me if it works and I have hundreds of people who've paid me upfront, right, that I can show, why would I give it out for free if it does work and it's actually valuable? Oh, okay. Maybe I can just pay Pay more. I mean, potentially, man, like, I know what I do works. The issue I have right now is I don't know if you work. I work, man. We can dive into it. The issue is, what makes you feel like, for me, that I would go ahead and allow somebody in who didn't pay up front when every other person I've trained, they had to go ahead and pay up front? Like, why would I do that?
Generosity.
What type of business owner would I be? Because if I've had all these people, like, let's say you paid for something and then somebody after you gets the exact same thing and they don't have to pay up front for it, how would you feel? So you want me treat people who are already paying me money? You want me to treat those clients like that or somebody who's not giving me money? Is that how you want me to act?
No, I don't want to do that.
It doesn't make much sense, man. So it's like, so be real with me. Like, what's, what's really holding you back here?
I have the money and I never knew I was going to drop that much. Just feel a little bit scared.
And I appreciate that. But does that really matter though, if that's what it takes to get you to where you want to go?
I mean, yeah, you got to overcome the fear. That's what they say. Otherwise you just stay stuck.
Is that something you're willing to do?
I just got to do it. Yeah, fuck it, man. I guess I should just do it.
