The excerpt is a two-person sales/coaching dialogue between an unnamed prospective client (Speaker A) and a coach/sales rep (Speaker B). They discuss whether to rely on free YouTube content or invest in paid, one-on-one coaching to scale income (goals mentioned: $10K to $30K/month), affordability of an ~$8K program, payment-plan options (proposed monthly $2K), being resourceful, closing calls and meeting KPIs. Speaker B guides and persuades Speaker A toward committing to paid training; Speaker A expresses budget concerns and eventual willingness to proceed.

I'm probably just going to keep going through YouTube and just kind of do the free stuff.
What's behind that? Like what would have you just wanting to go through the free stuff?
I think it's super valuable if I can take out a good chunk of that, get 10k a month and then utilize the rest of the stuff to be like 30K. And I think that would be the best way to go about it.
Can I make a suggestion around that?
Of course.
That's like saying like, hey, when I am, you know, healthy, then I'll actually go to the hospital to cure my disease. Because in your mind going through the free stuff, just going through the more basic stuff on YouTube or actually getting hands on help, what's actually going to be the quickest way that you start to make more money?
One on one?
Why would you say it's a one on one?
If I didn't understand something, I could go to you quicker.
When we're talking about YouTube, am I talking to you directly or am I talking to thousands of people?
Thousands of people.
I have to make it pretty generalized because I'm not talking to individuals. And it really just comes down to if you felt like getting actual hands on help would be a better way to do it, maybe even a quicker way to do it and you'll get better results doing so, what would have you wanted to go the slower, less actual custom route?
I don't really have 8k to just drop on that.
And that's something like we can actually deal with. If you're telling me like, hey bro, I just want to try to the basic stuff and then hope and pray I get results, like that's one thing, but not having the money is another thing. Nobody never joins the program because they don't have the money. You know what I mean?
Yeah.
If you took the money aside, is this something you would just go ahead and do? You would actually get the hands on training?
Yeah.
Why actually invest in yourself though? To actually get there quicker and get more customized training.
I get that one on one help. I feel like if given the right resources, I could just move faster.
When we're talking about like getting the right resources, what a lot of people focus on is I don't have it, therefore I can't get it. But do you feel like successful people are focusing on the resources they have or they focus focusing on being resourceful to get the resources that they need? Which one do you think like they're more actually looking at that way?
They're probably more resourceful.
Why Would you say they're resourceful, though?
Even on the real estate offer I'm on right now, most people have the money to flip a house.
And if you're going to sit across to them and ask them to be resourceful, is it pretty reasonable we got to expect that from ourselves too?
That's valid.
Well, why is it valid?
I think I've seen a couple of your videos online already. It's like, how is a. As a salesperson, can we ask someone to do something if we can't do it ourselves?
So it comes down to if we don't do it ourselves, if we don't get resourceful and we only focus on the resources we have, what's going to happen if another three, six, or maybe even if another year goes by and we're still stuck in the same spot? Like, what does that reality actually look like for you?
Taking a decent chunk of calls, only closing a handful of them and barely making KPIs.
Do you want to be that guy who's just barely making it?
No.
So let's focus on what we can do, not what we can't do. What are you actually working with that you can invest in yourself and then we can figure out how we get all the other resources together and be resourceful to actually get the outcome.
I got about like 35.
So if you have 35, man. Like what I could do is like, we can set it up to where it's just monthly. 2k. 2k. 2k. And really the beauty about what you do and what I do is we're in control of her paycheck. So you put the 2K down that you come in and you're going to put in enough work where you make at least an additional 2k next month and then you're just playing with house money. Is that something you feel like you can do?
