A short sales coaching monologue advising salespeople to ask prospects the difficult, fear-inducing questions that reveal the pain driving their need to change. The speaker uses a real-estate-investing example—asking a blue-collar worker how much longer they can keep doing physically demanding work—to create urgency and motivate action.
Ask the question the prospect is scared you're going to ask. For example, I was helping somebody and they sell, like, real estate investing, and they work a lot with, like, blue collar guys. And it's very hard on the body. And if you're getting into the conversations and they're like, okay, I'm looking to get in the real estate so I can stop having this hard impact on my body that like the question, how much longer can you do this with your body breaking down the way that it is? They don't want to think too much about how much longer can their body hold up, but they need to think about. So us being able to bring it to the light really allows them to understand that they need to change and create that urgency in them.
