Sales Rep calls out a Lazy Prospect 💀

A sales rep confronts a prospect who joins a call shirtless and lying on a couch. Christian Polk agrees that reps should enforce basic professionalism: put on a shirt, sit at a desk, treat the call seriously. If a prospect won't do that, they're not worth your time.
Sup mate? You alright mate? How are you?
I'm great, man. Good to see you. Yeah.
You just woke up. I'm alright. Okay. I mean, mate, I mean, to be honest, I think you need to put a shirt on and go and sit at a desk or something because I mean, I hope you wouldn't let your prospects jump on your calls and they're just sat there shirtless laid on their sofa like they just woke up.
Oh yeah, yeah, mate, I get you.
Okay, put a shirt on and then we'll carry on with the call. Oh, you're for real? Yeah, I'm dead serious. What makes you think I'm not being for real? Okay. No, I thought I was joking, mate. It's fine. Okay. Is that okay with you that I'm asking? You push out on it. Do you want me to fucking—
I mean, it's fine. All right.
And then go, you know, like you're not laying in bed. Do you want to go, like, get on the desk? Do you think? Yeah. Yeah. Is this how you treat your goals?
Overall, this is a pretty decent job, especially when a prospect is hopping on shirtless. Doesn't seem like they care. What is going on with UK prospects? I'm seeing way too many of, like, UK prospects, complete heads, like, not giving a fuck. But the big key thing that you really need to understand, like, on your sales call, if you are going to persuade somebody, if you are going to shift somebody, one, one thing, one thing that you absolutely need is focus. So if they are not focused, then it's like they're not really there. They're not really able to be able to be shift persuaded, do anything along those lines. So it's the same thing when somebody is like moving around, they're walking, they're driving, whatever it is, you want to get them to the point where it's like you can actually have a conversation. Now, I will say, do not become superstitious like this, like, oh, I won't have any calls unless they're sitting at their computer. It's like, no, they can be on their phone, like just sitting up, like actually just paying attention. Or they can be in their car parked, actually paying attention. But the biggest thing is they're actually paying attention and they're at least being attentive and taking it seriously. Somebody showing up without their shirt on, that's probably not going to be a good, good client. That's all I'm going to say. Who thinks that's okay? What is going on with the UK, man? Wild, bro. Wild.
