What to say when a prospect says "It wasn't what I expected"

Say somebody tells you, well, I thought it was going to be this, but it ended up being different. We just got to shift their focus to what's important. And you say something like this, well, I can appreciate you were expecting it to be a little bit different when you first came in, but does that really matter, though, if we get you to XYZ outcome that you're looking for? So we need to shift their focus from. Well, I was thinking it was something a little bit different to are you more focused on that, or are you more focused on the actual outcome? Like, does it matter if it's a little bit different than what you think? Thought if we get you to the outcome that you're looking for and you should get a no.
