Why $20k π°οΈ is NOT a lot of money... π±

Christian Polk explains why $20,000 a month isn't financial freedom. Most salespeople lie to themselves about their skill and how much they need to earn. He scaled to $50,000+ monthly by being honest about his abilities and refusing to plateau.

$20,000 in commissions each month is not that much money. When I first got into sales, this was my main goal. Make $20K per month and then all my problems are fucking gone. I was wrong. As soon as I hit $20K per month, I realized that $20,000 does not go nearly as far as what you actually think it will. And this was back in 2022 when I hit these numbers. So it is so much worse now with inflation and just how things are going. I didn't really start to hit that level of financial freedom where I actually felt free. I didn't feel restricted. I was making $50,000+ per month. At that point, I could actually take care of myself, but I could also take care of the people around me, buy my wife a car, buy my dad a car, do things that were just outside of myself and actually be able to travel and do the things that I wanted to do. The issue is with most people is that they lie to themselves, especially salespeople. So salespeople normally tell themselves two lies. Number one, they think they're better than what they are. Like, yeah, I'm only making $5, $10, $20K per month, but I'm a lot better than these other sales reps that are '50, 60, 70, 100K per month.' No, the fuck you aren't. You are what your commission check says you are. So if you are making 20K per month, you're a 20K per month closer. If you're making 60K per month, you're a 60K per month closer. If you increase your skill set, you will increase your income. Number 2, people lie to themselves about the fact that, 'Oh, I don't need to make more money. I'm content with where I'm at.' So this is like a fat person looking at a model and saying, 'Oh, I don't like skinny girls. I like a little bit more cushion for the pushing.' Like, bro, if you tried to talk to her, you would catch a charge. The The reason why I was able to break past plateaus is because I never lied to myself about my skill set or the fact that I needed to make more money to live the lifestyle I truly want to make. So if you want to live the lifestyle you truly want, then you have to push forward. And if you want to brainwash yourself on how to push past these plateaus, comment "reprogram" down below and I'll send you exactly how to do it.
