672 - She's Made for More - Cristal Jacobo Founder of She's Made for More Live

In this episode of the "She’s Made for More" podcast, host Christine Corcoran interviews Cristal Jacobo, founder of the She’s Made for More movement. Cristal shares her personal journey from a first‑generation, low‑income background to launching a podcast, courses, a membership, and an annual live event (She Is Made for More Live). The conversation explores cultural conditioning that tells women to be submissive and grateful, the internal competition among women, and how to break those patterns. Cristal outlines the mission of her community – to help women define and pursue their own version of "more" without justification – and describes concrete practices that support this, such as daily gratitude rituals, non‑negotiable scheduling, learning to receive compliments, and the "unapologetic ask" at her events. She discusses the importance of mentorship, proximity to other "expanders," and the role of wealth in empowering women to do good in the world. The interview also covers the evolution of the community, the structure of the live event (intimate 100‑person conference plus a 25‑person mastermind), and how taking up space as a mother‑entrepreneur is modeled in real time. Throughout, Cristal emphasizes mindset shifts around gratitude vs. greed, taking up space, and embracing fear as a catalyst for growth, offering actionable advice for women at any stage of their journey.

I am so excited to dive into today's conversation for the podcast. I've invited the beautiful Crystal to come and join us to talk all about she's made for more and everything that you've created with your community. Thank you so much for joining me today.
Of course. Thank you for having me. I'm really excited to dive into all of it.
I feel like I have been so blessed to be connected to so many incredible women in America. Like every single person that I've had on the podcast that I've met in America have such a warmth about them, have such like the mindset that they have around community, around business is just so inspiring and so like, like heart fulfilling. And I just absolutely love that we get to continue to have this conversation and continue to have this connection. So I'm so excited to dive into today. Can you tell us a little bit about your journey in business and where she's made for more came from.
In the education for six years and there was this gut feeling that maybe there's more out there. That's it. That just had that. And then coming from generational, my parents came from a different country. I was first generation born in this country. When you come from that background, you think almost, how dare am I ungrateful for what I have? And how dare I want more when I already, I'm living my more. I'm first generation, graduation, master's degree, credential, all of it, right? But we had this little feeling that kept having more. And at 20, I was 26 years old, I quit my job, never looked back. And I kept thinking, if I have this nudge in my heart that there's more, someone out there has to have it, another woman has to have it. I don't know. I'm going to take a. I'm going to take a chance on it. Started a podcast, started sharing the journey. And lo and behold, women resonated with the message. As I was accepting my more, as I was learning to build out my more, I was documenting it and creating courses with it. And fast forward, we have courses now. We have a membership, we have events, we have retreats, all tailored with one mission, which is help women embody more, build the more and connect them with a network of women who are going to get a salary. You can have what you want, but if you want more, you, there's no shame. Build your more, go after it and define your life and rewrite it how you want it to look. So fast forward, here we are, and it's phenomenal. I'M just really grateful I get to live this journey with other amazing women as well.
Oh, amazing. Well, I'm so glad that you took that leap. I'm sure it wasn't the easiest leap to take. And as we dive into a little bit more of that, I would actually just love to start with. Can you share with us what does be made for more or the fact that she's made for more mean to you? What does that truly mean to you?
Yeah. So I started. She is made for more because I grew up in. I made my culture where the role of a woman was. She has kids and she cooks and she's home. That's what I grew up seeing, my mom. That's what I grew up seeing, my grandmother. And in my culture, we as women are taught to be very submissive. You don't have a voice. And you can look at history for proof of that. There's so many evolutions of being a woman. But. And I've always had this. I am also the first daughter in my family. So I think naturally I was given the make appointments for my father, make this. Look at this. The mom role, in a sense. So I became very, very early on, I had to grow up and I became very independent. And when I started dating, I remember my mom giving me advice as remember, you don't say too much. We got to be submissive. I was like, for what?
Why?
I. If this is just the way I am. And I never really saw a problem until I started getting in relationships and I was. I'm putting myself out there fully. Where I. This or I sometimes a soul for me of we are more than the labels that we are put on. You're more than a mom, you're more than a daughter, you're more than you define what that more is, and you have every right to fully live that life, whatever that more looks like. If you want to be the best mom in the world and be that, own that, rock that, and who cares what everybody says? But it really became a symbol of what is the more that you want because you are allowed to be so grateful for what you have and still want more. Effy. Yeah.
It's so interesting, isn't it, how we're so conditioned to believe that, you know, as a woman that they. We have those roles and we should be always playing those roles. But also this. This grateful, like having to be grateful for what we've got and that be enough. Like, isn't it so fascinating that it's like this way that it causes us to Play small or hide our greatness or stop ourselves from shining because of this conditioning.
Right.
Can you share with us how you see this play out for the women that you work with?
It's. It's almost like we've. They've been taught we. I wouldn't say we. We've been taught to go after our more, but not too much.
Isn't that fascinating? Like, not too much for what? Like, what the.
You got to choose. Okay? You want to have a career, a developing career, have it. But then does that mean you're sacrificing children now? Does that mean you're. It's either. I've seen it. It's choose. It's either. And. Or. And I've realized now it's not and. Or both. You can have both. You can absolutely have a thriving career, build a movement, and still be a mom. I know it because I'm living it.
And I feel like I'd love to hear you. You speak on this, because do you notice, too, like, the ones that are actually perpetuating this belief system, that's that conditioning. It's like that reinforcement that happens. It's actually women. Like, we're the ones that are causing this conversation to continue because we keep. Even if it's just in our thoughts, that we're actually still having the thoughts around. Like, it's not okay for a woman to have both, or it's not okay for us to go after what it is that we want because of this conditioning. Do you see that as well?
Yes, I do. And especially coming from the education field, I think it goes deeper than just a thought. Because if you really go back, even to the school system, early on, you're conditioned that everyone's your competition. Think about when you're getting a pop quiz. Who's getting the best score? What are we? So it's not something that randomly we're choosing to just have today, and I'm going to stay stuck. For so many of us, it's conditioning, patterning that those patterns have been given to us, and we grow up and we look at. And then when we come into the field of adult and being women, and we're looking at women as competition, and it's not because you're broken or you're jealous, but we're taking this and we're judging. The biggest thing that I've seen with women is that judging other women for, she's wearing that, or she's doing, oh, she's a mom, and she's doing this. Like, who's spending Time with her kids, when so many of us are craving expansion, but we're not leaving room for that expansion because there's these little thoughts that we still carry around in our head. Where it's okay to have the thoughts, and I always say the awareness to pause and be like, okay, what am I going to do with that thought?
Yeah, 100%. And you so right this competition piece. And it's so ingrained in us that sometimes we don't even realize. You're right. That we're actually having the thought as well as, like, then how we're behaving after the thought. And I've seen it as well in, like. And I'm hoping that it's starting to change, but there's definitely even, like, in music, in TV shows, in movies where women are pitted against each other constantly and the men aren't involved in it, but we're pitted against each other as if we have to fight for the male's gaze or whatever it might. Might be. And I feel like it's that thing of, like, how can we just question that conditioning and be like, how can we be supportive? So one of the things that I love to cultivate with the community that I have and with the events that I run and the masterminds and all the things is how we lift each other other up and how we support each other. And acknowledging, too, that when you're celebrating someone else, it doesn't take away from your achievements. It doesn't take away from what's available to you. Can you talk to us through how you cultivate that culture within your communities.
Or is even the name at events anywhere we do, I address it. I was like, if you notice, the event isn't called Made for More or I am made for More. It didn't start with me. The reason it is called she is Made for More is because I have this vision and I always start the events Master Anywhere vision. And I cast the vision out because they stand for and they follow the leader. So if you as a leader are so clear in your mission and what you want, people are gonna. They're gonna understand that mission and they're gonna preach that mission. And every event we've started it with the community is called she is Made for More. Meaning. This isn't about me. This is. I stand in my power and hope that she can see me shine and say, hey, I want a piece of that. And she's showing me how to get there. And then when she stands there, she reminds the next woman and the next Woman and it becomes a domino effect because I aware that there's women hating on each other, that there's women negativity that I'm very aware. And I'm not going to sit here and pretend it's butterflies and rainbows, but I want to be the disruptor in the event space that says, hey, this isn't even about us. This is, and this is getting a little deeper, but this is about the next generation that's coming and that they can say those women did it, they collaborated, they grew together, we can do it too. So I, I've always started the events and what I've noticed is having that clear crystal vision of why this community was started and how we are already implementing everyone has been the domino effect where we have collaborations happen. Women have events and they get other women on the event to be their speakers and it's just been a domino effect. But I think it starts with the leader getting really, really clear and not going in there with hoping, casting the vision so that others can see it too.
Oh, I love this so, so much. Oh my goodness, yes. It's got to start from the leader for sure. And it's one of those things that even like with all different events that I attend in Australia, like there's a lot of events that I attend are women only, which is amazing. And yet when I attend like the bigger scale events, it's a majority of men on those stages and there's usually sometimes hopefully one woman, one woman. And I'm like, how are we like creating space for this? Because if we're not championing us like women, our gender, how do we expect to be able to disrupt the main industry, right. The actual industry that we really want to get into. And I think that the more that we can give voice to, to women's opinions and women's thoughts and women's, you know, successes, it helps us lift each other up along the way. Like I always love that old quote, a rising tide lifts all ships and if we can hold that to be true, we can support each other and we're not taking away anything of what the we have created or what's possible for us. So I love that you set that as your mission and your vision and you really weave that through everything that you do because it's so, so potent. It's just amazing. What would you say to a woman that is listening to this and she knows deep down because I think this is one of the things that I love about this, this concept around. She's made for more that whenever we broach the subject, every single woman has something that they know that they're made for more.
Right.
They have it. Deep down, they know there's like this pull in our gut that we know we're made for more. But what do you see keeps women doubting that they're made for more or doubting that they have what it takes?
I think so many of us are looking for somebody else to look like us to be doing what we want to do. We're looking for that social proof, evidence. And I'm going to say this. If you have the dream that's planted in your heart, you were the one that was meant to bring it to fruition. You are the one that's supposed to look, sound, and be you so that other women can see it too. But so often I see this. Culturally wise, I see, oh, there's no. Even with. With the stages, there's no other woman or there's no women of race. There's no women of color on that stage. Yeah. Because it's meant to be you. And I think if you can get so into your body and realize, okay, I don't have a blueprint because you're probably first generation, you're starting new. We have not. No idea what we're doing. Truthfully, I don't think anyone has an idea of what they're doing. I think it says having the courage to say, I'm gonna go. And there's a beautiful quote that I believe in. But I believe that when you say yes, you will always figure out the rest. Yeah. I think it's realizing that and saying, you are the one that's meant to go, the one that people. It's going to sound cliche, but the one that people are praying that takes that step because the world is already waiting for you. It doesn't. We look for that social proof. And I'm going to be honest with you. You're never going to find it because it's you, girl. It's you.
Oh, my God. I love it so much. So good. I just love how you completely flip that on its head and be like, yeah, that's because it's your space. It's your stage. Oh, my gosh. I love so much. And I feel like you just described like it's. You're right. There's no. It's not easy. And I think we know it's not about. We're going to have all the 10 steps planned out for us, and we know exactly what it is to do. And I think that that's also one of the crutches that keeps women stuck or keeps women not taking the next step is because they think that there's a missing pill or they think that there's something that they don't know, and they are constantly searching for that other piece of information they think is going to actually support them to move forward. But can you talk to us about how you've navigated the challenges along business and how the mindset that you have when you navigate those challenges? Because I'm sure that you have challenges that come up for you, especially now in this messy middle piece of business as you're scaling.
Yeah. So I'm going to be really honest with everyone. Like, you don't get here alone. You do not get here alone. You have to put skin in the game. And that means investing in a mentor, investing in a ticket to be in the room, finding your way that you can invest in somehow, whether it's finding a business. Like, I can call Christine and say, hey, I'm this, and I know she will get me up and running. Be like, girl, what are you in your head about? This is. But I know. But because we're both investing at the same level, we're both putting ourselves in rooms, we are craving the people who are doing the scary thing who are. We're a little lost, and we're doing it anyway. Because I'm going to be real with you. I think if we slow down, process the information, and we share the information with everyone. People can only see you through their limitations. Not because you don't have what it takes or not because your mom doesn't believe in you. People can only see us through our own limitations. So when it comes to the steps that I've taken, it's. I've invested. What? Okay, I can't afford that mentor early on. What can I afford? I can afford the ticket to get close proximity to those speakers that are doing the thing. So buy the ticket, get in the room. Okay, next step. I started making a little bit of money in my business. Now I can invest in the mentor. Because when it gets scary, because it will. When it gets hard, because it will. Guess who gets all these messages? My mentor. Hey, this is what I'm feeling. Blah, blah, blah, blah. And she'll, like, talk me into it or she'll give me strategy. Here's what I want you to do. They say the cheat code to life is having a coach or a mentor. That saying is there for a reason. So I think if you're thinking about it and like, oh, I. I have these doubts and I have these fears. Girl, you're normal. You're not broken. It's part of. I think the dream is given to you with fear. It's part of the fear. And I think we can say, all right, fear, strap on. We're like, get on, Buckle up, because we're going to go on a ride. You can still build a really successful business brand with fear on your shotgun. Like, you can.
It's not something that people aren't out there just taking this action from. No fear. Like, that's not actually what's happening. And I think people tell themselves, oh, but if I felt more confident or if I wasn't as scared. No, you just have to do it bloody scared. Like, when I launched my book recently, I had a past friend reach out to me who we actually went to coaching college together. So we studied together, and I've built a successful business and she's gone a different. Down a different path. Although I know that she wants to build a successful coaching business.
Right?
And she reached out to me after reading the book, and she's like, I'm so glad that you wrote this because I've always seen you as perfect and someone that has just had everything easy. And she's like, this has given me an insight to you and your mindset and how you've overcome challenges, you know, every step of the way in order to get to where you are today. And I realized that that makes it impossible for me. And I was like, wow, like, one. At what point did I, like, what did I show you that made me. Made it look like I was perfect? Like, that word really, like, tripped me up. I was like, no, no. I've just had the courage. Like, I think that I've just tapped into the courage and created a vision for what it is that I want for my life and not let anything else get in the way.
Right.
And I think that sometimes we have to trust in where we want to take things and have a really clear vision. It sounds like you have a really clear vision for where you want to take. She's made for more, and that's super exciting. And so has there been. And I'd love to know if there's been any other major mindset shift or have you had to work through a belief or some conditioning in particular. That has been the biggest mindset shift in order for you to lead this movement.
So there's been two. One I've shared on my story in my podcast, but I come from, like, Close to poverty. We. We used to live in a trailer home, about five families. One bathroom, one room, one. And we all. All the families had, like, a little portion of the home. And that. I grew up. That's what was normal for me. You still be grateful for what you have. That was huge. And that kind of carried on and lingered on because when it was the thought of, like, crystal, you're being greedy. You already have members, you already are making money. When is it enough? So that was a big, big challenge for me, realizing you are allowed to be so grateful and so want more. And it doesn't take away from you. It doesn't make you money hungry. It doesn't make you greedy. And the as the more that I dove into that, I had to realize why. Why do I care so much? Why do I want this? And you have to understand that that conditioning served who came before you, but it wasn't serving me. And I think with all of us as you are, finding the doubts or the little fears that creep in or like the little beliefs that creep in, they may have served us. Sure. Because those. They served us. We. Our truth was we were bored. That was my truth. I'm not that. I'm not making that up. That was our truth, and it served me at that time. But I'm not there anymore. And I had to learn to let go of that. The second thing was taking up space in this industry, coming from my roots and where I. We don't speak up, we don't say anything. We. You don't want to be noticed. You don't want to be talked about. Especially coming from a different country. My parents, it was almost like they knew this wasn't their country. I was born here, and this is my country. And they've done such a phenomenal job at. This is your country, and you're American, and this is who you are. That I'm so proud of who I am. And I have my roots, come from a different country, but this is my country. And learning to take up space for me was so hard. So hard of. I sound different. I don't look like everybody else. Maybe my body's different than everybody else. And really realizing that, yeah, because I'm the one that was meant to look like me, to help other people who look like me go first. That was the biggest thing. And truthfully, that's what I still work through. Now there's. I. We get to this level, and then I'm like, okay, what am I doing? Do I know enough? Do I sound. Does. Is My English good enough, how my accent and those thoughts still creep up. And I'm. It's still something that I'm actively working on to realize, no, you get to take up space. So those have been the two major shifts and learning wealth. Because when you don't come from wealth, money is scary. Building a relationship with wealth has been the biggest thing. You can attract what you're afraid of, and I was afraid of money. So you can't attract money if you're afraid of it. And learning to take up space currently is what I still being super transparent is what I still. What I struggle with. And I have to remind myself why.
It's so interesting, isn't it, how, like, those big blocks really just keep coming back up for us to evolve through it again and again and again at whole new levels. It's really fascinating and I'd love for you to share, like, when it comes to taking up space, because I feel like as many women are going to be hearing this, going, okay, but what did you do? Like, how did you take up space? How did you start? Because they may see you now running an incredible business on stages, you know, sharing your podcast, sharing your opinion and taking up space and owning that. The level of confidence that you have is just phenomenal. And I absolutely love it. Every time you. I see you on stories or I see you on a reel, I'm like, yes, girl. Like, oh, my gosh, it's your energy really comes through. But if there's someone listening to this and they're not really there yet, what would you say? Like, what would be some of the things that you would encourage them to do to take up more space?
So I think it's a relationship you have to build within yourself. It doesn't happen overnight. So if you're like, I'm shy or I'm scared, girl, you're exactly where you're supposed to be at. Now put in the work to actually get there. And one, I would say build a relationship with receiving. Get comfortable with receiving, because when you're in this space, you're going to receive compliments, you're going to receive, hey, I like your podcast hey. And it's so easy to dim it down. Like, if you say, hey, your podcast was so good. I listened to, oh, really? Like, I didn't know if I was going to be good. I just kind of put it out there. It's so easy. When people say, hey, I like your shoes. The first thing we say is, oh, these? I got them at Marshalls. Or I got Them at Ross, wherever you shop. And it's so easy to just say thank you. You like my shoes? Things. I love them too. I'm rocking them. And it's going to take practice. It doesn't happen overnight. Taking up space is just learning to receive. I would say first learning to receive that you are worthy of being seen. You're worthy of being beautiful. It sounds so like small little things. But the next time you get a compliment, practice not dimming that compliment down. Own it. I love your hair. Thanks. I curled it. I was hoping for a good hair day. Glad I got my compliment today. Own that. That's. It builds a huge. That's the gap between your confidence that you really want and take up space. It's learning to receive. Second thing that I would say is learning to detach quick. And that means that I have to understand that everybody's going to see me through their own projections, which is okay. Learning to really, really let go. That if you see me as the villain who's showing up and taking up crystals and jerks. Showing up or doing this, that's okay. That's your projections of me. And you are allowed to have those. And I don't need to justify why I'm not. And that's the hardest part. That is the hardest part. If you think I'm a show off, if you think I'm this, that is okay. I own that. That's fine. And if you think I am amazing and beautiful, I open that with open arms and I welcome that more. But really, really practicing, not making it personal because everyone is operating from their own limiting beliefs and their own traumas. And maybe they're right. Maybe the person that bullied them was an online coach. And now that they see me, they're triggered and they think I'm a bully too. Whatever. It is really understanding that people can only see you through their own limitations and their perceptions. And it's not your job to change them or convince them otherwise. I think when you can really practice that it gets easier to show up as you. Because not my content isn't going to be for everyone. I'm not going to be for everyone. And that is okay. I'm not meant to be for everyone. And it's hard. But practicing and really taking a breath, this is what I actually do. When I feel triggered, when I feel something like it's not about me, it's not about me. Like, whatever. They have every right to feel it. It's their life. I know my truth and I know I did this because I this keep moving from that angle and it's hard. It is hard.
Yes. Oh my gosh. So many places I want to take this. Like I feel like there's that inner like mean girl that we have. Obviously that can impact that. And when we project that, it's we're literally blocking so much of our own abundance by doing that.
Right.
Like when we're either projecting, we're judging or even just not even allowing ourselves to receive that we downplay. And I'd love the word that you use is justified.
Right.
Like where are we justifying where our worthiness. Where are we justifying that it's okay for us to receive this? It's so fascinating and I feel like I'm in a journey at the moment of really leveling up my receiving because recently I've just been launching my book and at one of the first book parties my best friend who interviewed me for the event introduced me as a best selling author, which is true, it happened and yet I hadn't integrated it yet. And it felt really uncomfortable. And as I walked up to the front of the room and took my seat, I watched back that video and I cringe so bad because I didn't receive it. I did not receive it and I and I downplayed it and I tried to justify it. It was so interesting because when I look back on it now and I get reflect and love, love that it's on video because I get to have that full reflection. But it's so fascinating that we need to really acknowledge like where are we justifying things? We don't have to justify what we are receiving. It's coming to us for a reason. And so I love that you use that word. I love that you've had to work through these mindset blocks as well around money. I feel like it's everyone has these blocks, everyone. It shows up for everyone. That doesn't it? It's just crazy. But I'd love to get to talk a little bit more about your community that you've built because I'm sure that, that those blocks are also continuing to show up for you and for your community. How have you evolved as the community has evolved? Like when you think about how you show up online, how has that evolved from when you first began to where it is now? Has the vision and mission stayed exactly the same or has it shifted? How has it evolved?
It's so funny because somebody asked me about she's made for more and they said, hey, I saw you, I found you on Google and I Looked you up. And I'm obsessed with the mission. And we had a big company reach out to us that they want to sponsor the event. And it's never like nothing like this has ever happened. And I had this moment of like, holy shoot, we are recognized by other people now. And I sat there and I thought about it and I was like, the community has evolved so much. The mission has been the same. Take up space unapologetically and define your version of more and go after it right without justifying it. Just make it happen. And connect with women who are also delusional enough or crazy enough like you are to do the. To do the thing. But I think me as a leader, I've evolved because when I started, I started with a lot of fear. Is anyone even going to join this? And I don't need to invest in a logo. I don't. I started really with so much. Is anyone even going to sign up? Is anyone going to do it to where we're at now? I'm so confident in our community. It's like, why wouldn't you be a part of it? Why wouldn't you come? Like, you're going to find your best biz, best that you're going to find your best friend. Why wouldn't you want to be in this room? But that has evolved with me as a leader, practicing, receiving, learning more about myself, how do I like to lead, what are my boundaries? And it's so easy to say yes to a million things. And the community has evolved now to where they're more unapologetic. They want to take up space. But that has happened because I think I, as a human, have evolved. I also had a son when I started this community. I was 20, 28 with no baby. And I think to some degree, I had detached the idea of having kids because I was like, well, if it happens, it happens. I don't need it. And then fast forward in the middle of it, I realized, no, I really do want to be a mom. So I had to slow down and really look into my health and my fertility. And it didn't just happen overnight. So that made me evolve even more as a human. And now who I am as a leader, it's not so much of it's just amplified because I know there's little eyeballs watching me. There's little eyeballs that are going to see that's my mom and how I show up and what I do or what I don't becomes this their limitations. And it's evolved. And I think that leadership as it's grown has made a lot of women realize, holy shoot. It's not either or. It's. We really get to define our more and go after it. Because Crystal's doing it. She's having events two months postpartum. She's having her little eight month old on stage with her at every event. I'm in the back of the room breastfeeding. It's not, not. It's like the mission has become non negotiable now. And I think for a lot of our members, that's the point that they've gotten, is that the mission is non negotiable. We're making it get there one way or the other.
My God, I love this. Oh my gosh, so many. Like, this non negotiable piece is absolute magic. Like, it's that absolute decision of like there's no other option. It is absolutely non negotiable. And I'm no longer going to accept less or just settle for what it is that I've got. And I just love that you embody that as the leader. Like that must give such permission to so many women that you work with. And I just, yeah, I just love this so much. And I'd love to know like holding that, like at this level of holding the community, holding that vision and, and being that leader of that community, is there something that you would say? Like, is your a ritual that you do or non negotiable that you lean into as a leader or even as a mum, like that you really hold on to? Like, is there a real clear boundary that you have or a non negotiable ritual that do that is so important to you that you're like, this has to be something that I do for myself in order for me to be able to show up in the way that I do.
Yeah. So I don't mess. Like, my schedule is non negotiable. My schedule is non negotiable. And I think before I preach about being present and being a CEO and being a mama and you can do it all. But my schedule is non negotiable. Meaning there are certain scenarios where we have to move it around. Okay, that's fine. But I look out for who is that human and why we're doing it. But when it comes to my schedule and my time, every morning I start with my time. Even if that means I wake up at 3am because I have to have my time. My time is non negotiable because every day you're going to have triggers Every day you're going to have doubts. Every day you're going to feel like what is happening, I don't know what I'm doing and I want to burn it down to the ground. Every day you're going to feel that. But getting so quiet and in your mind of like just being, focusing in gratitude. That's the thing that I do every day that's non negotiable. And I'll say, thank you God for helping me get here. God, use me as a vessel. Tell me what I need to do for the community, for the women. Tell me what I want, what you need me to say that they need to hear. And I will pray. And that's my morning time. That's my time. Second thing is my non negotiable for my I think it has to be a balance between who you are as a woman, making sure you stay connected to you and your values, your schedule as doing something for the CEO, like making sure your schedule is balanced so that you're not people pleasing. Oh, you want to call at 10:00am yes. Oh, you want to call 4:00pm yes. Let me move things around again. Sometimes there'll be scenarios where you just have to but becoming non negotiable with your schedule puts you in such a deeper power for you to feel like I am truly in control of my life. And the third, the additional thing that I say is like have fun. It sounds so silly. But what's the thing that brings you fun? Whether it's playing Hannah Montana in the background and having like a karaoke concert while you're cutting the onions for lunch. Like, have fun. If you like playing soccer. When was the last time you played soccer? Have fun. Because life is about having fun. If and if you're not having what's the purpose? What is the purpose? And I, I make fun, like non negotiable. And I tell all my clients, have fun, do the thing, go rollerblading, go to the Amusem park, make having fun non negotiable and do one thing that's going to be fun for you at least once a month. It sounds crazy, but once a month go to the zoo, do something that's just for the little kid in you, the human in you that's gonna have fun.
I love that it actually comes through your social media a lot. Like I see you having fun and it makes me laugh and it makes me just like just so enveloped in the joy that you bring to your social media. So if you're not following crystal, make sure that you Follow crystal. And I just love that you do that for your child. And the gratitude really does come through. Like the. We get to be living this and we get to experience this. And yes, that comes with challenges and yes, that comes with problems, but it's actually how we're addressing and reacting to those problems. And I love that you then led with that last one of, of, of fun. Like that's just so much. That's just you. Totally you. I love it. So tell us more about the She's Made for More. So tell us, but tell us about the event and what you're cultivating there and why people should attend.
So our event happens every fall is called she Is Made for More Live. It happens in beautiful California beach towns all around. That event is. It's for the woman who's boldly going after her more, who wants to go the next level. Because I think if we're being really honest, there's levels, there's a level of accepting it, then there's a level of like tiptoeing around your business, which everything's fine. You have to define what level you're in. And then there's a level where something hits you and you're like, no, I need to invest. I want to go hang out with the people who are doing the scary things. This is the room. It's putting you in a room with the people who are investing, who are leveling up, who are making it non negotiable. And in this room it's not. This room is very intentional because it's only 100 women that attend this room. It's at 100. We close the tickets and that's done with intention because you're not. Transformation results happen in proximity. It doesn't happen being in a room of 2,000 women. Well, you might get a download, you might get an idea. But I want your business to succeed. I want you to make money. I want you to taste what it's like to have women pay you and be like, damn, I just replaced my salary. I need you to taste that because guess what? When we normalize that feeling, you're going to, you're going to remind the other woman and the other woman. And again, my whole thing is a domino effect. But she's Made for More. Life is really the place where you're gonna embody your next level and real support. We're talking about structure, we're talking about sales funnels, we're talking about growth, we're talking about the things that you want to do that somebody else has already done. The speakers have already done the thing you want to do. And they're giving you the framework of how they got there. That's the conference. It's a one day event. And then there's a. There's 25 tickets. We open for people who want the ultimate experience where they come to the conference on Friday. And then Saturday is a mastermind day. 25 people intimate with high level speakers that are doing the things you want to do. And you can ask them questions, how did I get there? They'll brainstorm on your business. Because again, I believe transformation and growth happens in proximity. And sometimes you've got to pay to get in that proximity. But guess What? You're going to 10x your results if you get in that room. Because these are the people who are already doing it. And it's again, the cheat code to life. Tell me what I need to avoid so I can get there faster. Because I'm not. I always tell my clients this, but I'm like, girl, I already suffered for all of us. I already cried. I already Googled it for 18 hours. Here's how I did it. Do it because there's no need for us both to suffer. I already did it for both. The same thing is with this event, these are the speakers who have already done it. They've already suffered, They've already gone through the challenges. They literally want to give you the code to get there faster. So that's what this event is. It's more. It's just a movement of more women making more money. Because I truly do believe that when good people make money, good things happen in the world. And that's my mission. How do we put more wealth in more women's hands so that they can do more good in the world? Because women lead with heart. I've seen it over and over. Women give to charities, Women do this, Women start foster care. They do something with that money. Not saying that men don't, but I've seen that women lead with heart.
They leave with the community. Yeah, that's it. They lead with a how do we Instead of how do I? There's a whole difference. Yeah, I 100 agree with you. And oh my goodness, you're so, so true. So right in the way that you speak about being in rooms and being in the proximity. Like the amount of breakthroughs that I've had, the things that I've learned. But it's actually not about the knowledge. Well, it is. It's an element of, like, what's possible. And I think that when we hear another woman talk about what they've been able to achieve, it makes it possible for ourselves. And the more we're having more of those conversations, the more that you challenge, the more way that you think, and you start thinking more like the people that you're surrounding yourself with. And so that's why I've always prioritized being in incredible rooms. Always a whole being part of my journey right from the beginning of how do I get in proximity, how do I have conversations with incredible women that have been where I want to be and are doing the things that I want to do? And so the more that we can challenge ourselves to be in those rooms, the better. So if you're listening to this and you are going to get to California, make sure that you are there. It's going to be absolutely phenomenal. Phenomenal. And I'd love to know, like, can you share with us a moment or two from past events that have really solidified for you everything that you're doing?
Right?
Because I think that, like I said before, it takes a lot of guts, a lot of courage, and a lot of hard work to create what you've created. From the events to the masterminds to the podcast. Like, everything that you're doing, it takes a lot of courage and a lot of bloody hard work. Has there been any moments where you had had a moment to just pause and be like, wow, like, this is the reason why I'm doing this?
The two things. One of them happened last year. One of our girls attended the event, and she called her shot. She's like, hey, I'm going to host an event. It's going to be in Arizona, and I'm going to do it. She hosted her event. Every single one of those speakers came from that room. She said, hey. And she was very honest when I asked her, like, oh, my God, let me know how I can support you. All the things. And I got to go be a speaker for her event, too. But when I saw her lineup, it was all women from the community. And she said I was being really real. Like, I wasn't going to ask somebody who's 10 steps ahead of me. She's like, I know these women want it as bad as I do. So I created the space and I brought them to speak. And it was a moment of just sitting in the audience. Like, I had a small little part in this that turned into the next evolution, because her event has a different structure, it's a different audience, but it was born in that room. And a Wonderful moment. And seeing again how much we preach collaboration and seeing all the speakers that I was like, whoa, beautiful. The second moment happened maybe two days ago. I was on a call with a woman, and she's a phenomenal entrepreneur. Makes probably close to, like, $6 million in coaching. Amazing woman. She was actually one of the speakers last year. She's made for more life. And she said, crystal, I want to be really honest with you. You are one of the biggest expanders in my life. And I didn't. I'm like, wait, girl, I look up to you. What do you mean? And she said, no, you running that event. I've always. She's like, she has two little girls. She's like, I have two little girl. And even though I make money and I'm successful, I think subconsciously I was still holding on to the feeling that anything I do in business, my mom has to watch the kids or my partner. I can't do anything without having daycare for my kids, she said. And I flew in, and I'm there, and I come down to the lobby, and I see you go mode. You're setting up pens on the tables. You're. You have a bun. Like, you're very chill. And then I look over and there's this little boy in his walker just moving around, and he started crying. You got the bottle ready. You gave him the bottle, and you continued like nothing. She said, in that moment, you expanded me far beyond what I. I didn't even realize I was having this. She said, but I thought, whoa, this is. You're actually doing it. You're more with a mom. And she came back, and it's funny, because she hadn't launched an offer for, like, what, three years now? And it was very. This is my offer. This is what you did. After that event, she launched another mastermind, more low ticket, expanded it. She's like, I'm. I looked into different things I want to do, and I think you became the expander in holding that space. And more and more recently, now I'm getting more women who are asking me questions about being a mom and doing it with children, which is new, because to me, I. It. It wasn't a. It was a big deal that I became a mom because I'm so grateful, and I had a fertility journey, and I struggled to get pregnant, but once my son was here, it was never a question if I was going to continue doing what I was going to do. It's. It was. I was always going to do it, and I didn't. Wasn't going to stop. He was just going to integrate into my life. And I've been doing it. And that was a moment of, whoa. This domino effect of she is made for more. I'm truly living it now. And I'm giving permission not only to the beginner entrepreneurs, but women who are making multiple millions of dollars getting to have that breakthrough in that room simply because I'm doing what I'm doing.
Oh, my gosh. That's like a double expander for you and for her. So beautiful. And I. I also want to come back to your first example as well, of, like, seeing someone else then create an event and have met the people that she then brought up on stage. Oh, that gave me absolute goosebumps to hear that.
She.
She was like, I want to give everyone at my level, because I think that what we do is we often look at people further ahead and be like, oh, no, I want them on the stage, because if I have this incredible speaker, then more people will show up. Right? And yet she was like, no, no, no. They wanted as bad as I do. Like, oh, I just loved hearing that. And I feel like also what you just shared is beautiful for people to hear too, because I know automatically people would have had a thought of, they're taking people from the room. They're creating another event. They're copying her.
Right.
Like, we automatically go back to, like, the beginning of what we were talking about on the podcast. We have that conditioning to think that we're in competition, and yet I love your response of like, yes, go do it. Like, this is actually the reason why I'm doing it. Like, I just love that that came through from you today, because that's just like you walking your talk.
Yeah. Thank you. It's truly been phenomenal seeing the ripple effect. Women are doing retreats. Women are doing events. They come to my. They attend one of my retreats or one of my events, and they literally say, hey, I want to do this. I'm like, yeah, tell me how I can help you. What do you need? And replicate it. I had a mentor say this to me in 2020. He said, Crystal, my name is Cole. His name is Cole Hatter. Amazing, phenomenal guy in real estate, Everything mastermind. And he said, I'm Cole. He said, I'm Cole, and I'm gonna impact a certain amount of people. Crystal is Crystal, and she's going to impact whole different people. And then your client is going to impact whole different people. And he's like, and if I can have a little peace in that I'm grateful for Echos, but I know my job isn't to, like, he said, hog the audience. My job is to ignite the audience so that they can create more epic with other people. He very cool. Like, just his energy. And I was like, whoa. It just gave me this permission of, oh. And he always says. He always. What does he say? He says, like, duplicate and rip off. And I know there's like, a proper term for it. He's like, duplicate and rip off, but make it your own. And I think that gave me permission, like, whoa, we can get inspired by other people and make it your own.
Yeah. Because it'll never be the same. Like, even if you were to try to copy someone, it would never, ever be the same. So there's actually no point in even trying. You've got. I love that concept as well, of like, like, make it your own. Like, what do you bring to the table? And it's funny because, like, with all the, like, I run events as well, and I have a big event that I'm running in August here in Australia, and it's. I've been looking at what other events are happening. So when I was looking for the right date monitor, wanting to make sure that it wasn't close to a lot of other big events and, you know, as easy as it could be for me to get stuck in comparison or doubt whether mine's going to be as good, whatever I was looking for, the differences I was looking for, like, what am I going to bring to the table? It's going to be very different. And when I launched the tickets, the feedback that I got from people that I launched, because without telling anyone who the speakers were, so it was like, no speakers, just launch the tickets. And the feedback from people who were booking tickets, because I was. I just got so excited because everyone started booking tickets straight away. And the feedback that I was getting was like, yeah, but we know that you're going to put on a great event.
I was like, wow.
Like, how do you know that? But it's so phenomenal that you, you know, when you live into your values, the way that you were speaking about that below, you live in. Live into your values and ignite whatever your vision is into everything that you do that you become known for that. So I just love that you had that permission slip from your past mentor and then you've also created that permission slip for the people that you're impacting. And you're so right. There's more than enough people to impact. We don't have to worry about people taking other things. And I think, you know, and I know scarcity is a big thing in America, but I feel like it's much bigger in Australia because we have a much smaller population and we come from convict times. So scarcity mindsets is a real challenge here. But I just love that you spoke into that because I know that that would be really powerful for a lot of people to hear. So appreciating you so much. So what's next for she's made for more. And honestly, we can be a part of it by attending in October or possibly in early 2025. And like, if there was any woman listening and that they thinking about possibly attending, what do you think they need to know in order to get themselves in the room?
The room is going to change your life. The room is going to change your life. Because I've seen it over and over and over. Women come in with an idea or a vision and the next thing you know, boom. They're doing. They're going above and beyond. The room is going to change your life because there's something magical that happens when you put yourself in a room with expanders who see you as how do we go together versus you are my competition. And I think with she's made for more. What makes this community so unique and special is that people will straight up ask you, what are you working on so I can share it. And we have this thing at the event in October where I call it the unapologetic ask. And somebody once told me, Crystal just unapologetically asked somebody, worst case scenario, they say no. And I knew coming into this event I wanted to do the unapologetic ask. So every single woman in that audience gets a mic and we go one by one by one and you do your unapologetic ask. Ask. What is your ask? Because you don't know who might be in the room, who might connect or know that person that you need to know to get to the next expansion. So this room is your unapologetic ask. It's your unapologetic ask in your unapologetic season to go all in.
My gosh. So good. Thank you, Crystal. It's been such a joy chatting with you today and I'm so excited to to see what people take away from this episode. I have one last little question to ask you. If you could leave everyone listening with one truth or one piece of advice to carry forward, especially during a time that maybe she's forgotten who she is, what would you say?
I would say it's so funny. I did a post about this today on my Instagram. But I would say you've gotten through your hard seasons in life, the hardest things that no one probably even knows about. You got through it. You got through it with fear. You got through it with doubt. You got through it not knowing what tomorrow was going to hold, and you still did it. Now, if for a second you could pause and just realize, damn, I'm a badass because I've gone through stuff that no one knows about. I haven't shared this. What will happen if you just acknowledge your greatness for a second, take a breath in and say, okay, if I did that with fear, doubt, and being scared, what can I do if I believe in myself? And I think if you can just breathe that in. The woman who's gone through so much and back and made it here, and if we can just breathe life into her, imagine what you could do.
Speak into everyone's soul right there. Oh, my gosh. Thank you so much. It's been such a joy chatting with you today. Really appreciate you pouring into us.
Thank you so much for having me.
