So one thing that people do on sales calls that turn people off instantly is to talk about themselves too soon in the conversation. The reason why this often happens is we perceive a sales call to be a presentation, right? We think that sales is, oh well, they're interested. What I'll just do is I'll tell them how I work with my clients and I'll tell them what I do and I tell them the offer and then they'll say yes or they'll say no, right? Whereas you're actually missing the point of a sales call. The sales call is to help support the customer, the client, to be ready to purchase. And it's a, it's an opportunity for you to make sure that you're doing the due diligence to see whether they're the right fit, whether your offer is the right fit for them, and whether they're the right fit for you as a client. So it's a process of elimination. You're asking really great questions and getting to know the client and overcoming any of their objections by having a conversation in order to support the decision. Because really you're diagnosing whether they really do need your service and whether they're ready for your service. And if you're not asking the right questions and you're not paying attention to what they're saying and listening to them in depth, they're often going to just get off that call feeling a little bit unheard and unseen. And that's not going to support the conversion. It's more about them than it is about you. You are not presenting unless you know that it's the right fit for them. And this is where people go so wrong. And I've had this happen even myself on sales call was calls when I'm being the customer and someone's trying to sell to me, they go straight into here's what I can do for you and here's the offer and here's how we work with our clients and here's the results that we get. I'm like, great, but do you even care about me? And that's where the clincher is. If you don't care enough to ask great questions about their experience, about the problem they're experiencing about their business, if they're in business to really get to know them on a deeper level before you then present your offer, then you are losing sales. I guarantee you, absolutely guarantee you're losing sales. Often people think that if we have the right fit offer, then they'll want it. But the thing is, your sales call really needs to uncover whether they truly need it and whether it's really important to them to help them through the emotional resistance. Because the logical facts of what's included in your offer is less important than the emotional res. Resistance to them buying. So you've got to stop talking about you and you will spend most of the time talking about them to them, listening to them and understanding them. You need to feel like they're going to be a great client. You need to find out whether every part of your service. So you wanna think of it like, almost like a checklist. So if you look at different components of your Right. So for instance, my unstoppable sales program helps you work through any money mindset blocks. It helps you learn the sales process. So they're going to need to want to learn the sales process. Right. It's going to help you develop a sales strategy for your business. So then you're not leaving your income up to chance. And it's going to give you the accountability and support in order to implement those strategies. And it's going to really look at your offer to make sure it's an irresistible offer that your ideal clients want to buy, including looking at your sales messaging. So if I was talking to a client about this, I would be uncovering whether they need those five things, right? I'd be asking questions like, how do you currently feel with your sales calls? How do you currently feel with your sales process? And does it feel uncomfortable? Do you feel like you hate sales? Or have you ever learned sales before? Right. Then I would be looking at, like, how confident are you in finding your next client? Do you feel like you have a strategy in place in order to support and nurture the conversion? In order to support and nurture someone, going from not knowing who you are to nurturing them to get to know you, to trust you, to build credibility, and then to want to work with you? Do you feel confident with that? What do you have in place in your business in order to do that? What activities are you spending time on in order for you to generate the results that you're looking for? Then I might go into some money mindset questions about like, do you find that you sabotage your success? Do you find that you get to a certain point in business and then things start falling apart? Or do you find it really uncomfortable talking about money? Do you feel like you're under charging? Are you pricing yourself in a right place that's profitable and sustainable for your business? And then we might go into your offer. How clear do you feel on your offer? How clear do you feel on your ideal client? When you were talking to your ideal client, does your offer resonate with them? Do they love it? Do they want to buy it? Do they convert? And we go through all of those questions because I'm determining whether they need my offer, right? And if the answers that I get back from them aren't the answers that I need in order for them to determine it's the right fit, then I won't sell to them. Right? We want to stay in integrity and authenticity, and we don't sell to people that need what we have to offer. So when it comes to your sales calls, I want you to stop talking about yourself and start asking really great questions. And you'll find that that will show the level of value that you deliver, and then they'll want and need your offer. I hope you love this episode. You feel called to be a part of unstoppable sales. Come and join us.
