731 Energetic Shifts in the Year of the Horse (2026) - 5 Minutes of Momentum

In this five‑minute "Momentum" episode, Christine Corcoran frames 2025 (the Chinese Year of the Snake) as a period of deep introspection, shedding, and internal restructuring, and positions 2026 (the Year of the Horse) as a time for bold, accelerated, and embodied action. She explains how the challenges of 2025 forced clients and listeners to question their purpose, pricing, positioning, and boundaries, prompting a necessary clearing of energetic clutter. Moving into 2026, Corcoran urges listeners to back themselves fully, launch or amplify offerings, own their space, and embody leadership without hesitation. She contrasts the Snake’s reflective, quiet restructuring with the Horse’s expressive, fast‑moving execution, and ends with three reflective prompts: what will you say out loud, where are you called to lead, and which delayed dream will you finally pursue. The episode blends motivational storytelling with concrete calls to action, encouraging listeners to translate internal clarity into external momentum.

If you need that little kick up the butt to get things moving and to inspire you to take massive action, then every single Thursday, I'll be sending you through a five minute episode to download, digest and implement to finish your week off strong. Are you ready to get started? Let's go. It's 2026 and we are stepping into the Year of the Horse. I wanted to do a little episode on what the year was for 2025 and what we're stepping into for 2026, because when reading about this, I was like, oh my God, this resonates so freaking much. And I felt like it gave me almost like a level of not, not just a permission slip, but a level of just validation of like, oh, that's really interesting about how 2025 turned out, because I know I did an episode on, like, all the incredible things that happened for me in 2025 or that I made happen in 2025, but also it was a really interesting year. There were definitely some deeper challenges that happened. And so when I review what the Year of the Snake meant, and I wish I had read this at the beginning of the year, but it was so interesting about how it was preparing us for this year ahead. So how the Year of the Snake was really about letting go. It was really about the year of deep introspection and recalibration. So. So what I've taken from this is that 2025 was almost like the foundation for the setup of 2026, and it was like the internal work to then set up to the external work. Right. And so for 2025, like, what was really interesting was what I saw come through from clients that I worked with and conversations that I had from in person to at events and all the things was that 2025 was like a year where things got stripped back. It was a year where we were like challenged and pressured in so many ways and that it caused us to really look internally, it caused us to cl, to shut things down a little bit, to shed an old skin and to really look underneath the hood. Right? So if you were in 2025 questioning your path, questioning your pricing, questioning your positioning, questioning life, all the things that was so normal for a lot of people, we were very much clearing our energetic clutter. So if you lost people this year, sorry, if you lost people in 2025, if you shedded old patterns, if you found that even some of your offers were no longer aligned, like I've definitely had that happen where I like, okay, I need to really revisit my office suite and what's that going to look like in 2026? And so if you felt any of that, I want you to know that you're not alone. And it was purposeful. So it caused us to really look at the boundaries and our foundations and all of those things internally to know whether we were ready for higher pressure, we were ready for more. So it really caused us to reflect really at the end of the day and restructure and really reconnect with where we're going long term. I remember the amount of conversations that I had with people of like, okay, but why did you get into business and what's your purpose and what's your mission? We've got to refocus that because even when we're going through challenging years, that you are building something. So we've got to come back to that really strong long term vision. So if we look at 2025 being the restructure, right, that reflection, that internal check in to be like, okay, what is actually serving me? What's not serving me? Who do I need to let go of? What do I need to let go of in order for me to be able to set myself up for a big Year? This was what it all was about. So that was the snake at work, inviting you to pause, to really listen inward, and to just trust that it was all working out for you in your favor. Now we're stepping into the Year of the horse in 2026. This is all about boldness. So bold moves, accelerated momentum, clear direction and energetic freedom. So what that means it's time to go. So no more pausing, no more holding back, no more questioning, no more doubting. It is absolutely about action. And you know how much I love this, right? So. And also I just want to say aligned action. So the interesting thing about the horse, when I was reading about the Year of the Horse, is that it's all about backing yourself. So if you think about like, if you're backing a horse in a race, you've got to back them with your wholeheartedness, right? You can't be like, one foot in, one foot out. You've got to back yourself every step of the way. So backing your bold moves, going all in on something and being really energetically aligned with where you're going. So it can't be wish washy, it can't be like, oh, I might do this, then I'll check change my mind tomorrow. No, it's going to favor the people that go all in and take that next level massive action. So what does that mean? That means it is time for you to stop holding back and start expressing that if you've been sitting on something that you've been really wanting to bring to life, it's time to launch it. If you have been holding back from taking up space, maybe you've been doubting your messaging, maybe you've been doubting your voice. Like, whatever it might be, it is your cue. This is your cue to be seen and to step in and own that space. And if you've been craving more freedom, this is the year that it's going to support the spaciousness and the movement in how you work and how you serve. And it's going to set you up for those bold moves to take action and also to reap the rewards from that action. So the people who really tap into their alignment with their vision and then go, right, like, don't hold back, take the action, don't fake it. It's just like, I'm backing myself every step of the way. The horse is going to support you to continue to back yourself, right? So it's going to come from a place of embodied leadership. Embodied. Rather than, like, you know, faking the confidence, fake it. Do you make it. It's like, no, no. How can I really get in line with what's really important to me? Back my offer and go all in with whatever it is that you're doing, right? So whether you're launching something new, whether you're just really getting behind your current offerings, whether you are stepping into a new messaging piece, whether you are stepping in and owning a space, whatever it is, just go boldly. Don't hold back. So here's a, like, short little reflection, right? The snake was reflection. The horse is expression. The snake with the strategy. The horse is about speed. The snake was identity shifts and doing that internal work. The horse is about now embodying the action that needs to happen in order for you to level up. The snake was like detangling, letting go, you know, shedding, whereas the horse is declaring, it's owning it, it's going for it. The snake was like understanding that there was boundaries that need to be put in place in order to support yourself. And the horse is now like, I'm going to be bold in those boundaries. I'm not going to hold back. I'm going to own those boundaries. I'm going to go all in. And then lastly, the snake was like that quiet leadership behind the scenes of, like, doing the structure and the setup and the restructuring, whereas the horse is now like, you need to be seen as the leader. So going all in and being seen so last. Little prompt questions that I have for you just to reflect on for yourself for this year ahead. What are you ready to finally say out loud? Where are you being called to lead? Not from ego, but from embodiment and really go all in with that? What dream have you delayed that it's finally time to run toward? Can you feel the energy of 2026? I'm so excited. So in the words of the horse, saddle up, let's go.
