Let's go. Hey. Hey. Welcome to 2026. Like happy new Year. Like holy hell. How did we even get here? How fast did 2026 go? It was insanely fast. So much happened and I thought I would start the new year with an episode about your financial set point, what it actually is, and how to change it if you are not happy with where it's at. So let's talk about it. Your financial set point is like an invisible ceiling that determines how much money you allow yourself to receive, hold and circulate. So when you think about how it feels to hold money in your body, our subconscious mind holds evidence and reference points from your past of what you've been able to handle when it comes to the amount of income that you receive. And there will be certain experiences, associations that you have with that amount of money. And that then creates your behavior around money. It also informs your nervous system about what you feel capable of holding, receiving and circulating. So if you aren't sure whether you do have a financial set point or not, well, firstly, you do just know that we all have one. It usually comes to what we've been able to receive so far. So if you think back to the most amount of money you've ever been able to hold and then circulate. So even like when you go to invest in something, there'll be a certain set point that you feel comfortable of investing in, right? And there'll be like an edge that you get to that you're like, ooh, that feels really uncomfortable. Right? It's the same thing with what you're able to charge, the same thing with what you feel comfortable receiving. So if someone was to say, hey, here's 150k, how would that feel to you in your body? Like at first you might be like, woohoo, that's amazing, so good. But then secondly, would you feel like you are deserving of it? Would you feel like it's you're capable of managing it? Would you feel like it's something that you can hold, that you are deserving of, that you feel worthy of managing it and then circulating it? Or would you feel uncomfortable with it? Would you? And that's just one number, but you can determine, like, keep raising it until you get to the point where you're like, oh, that's my financial set point, right? There are a few signs that highlight to us whether we are experiencing a financial set point that could be impacting the way that we receive and circulate and hold money. Usually I look to things like if we're undercharging, if we're concerned about raising our prices, if we are having inconsistent income. So if you're hitting a new milestone in your income and then you have this nervous system response that feels uncomfortable that you received that amount of money, and then you go back down to where you feel most comfortable. So if your income is up, down, up, down, up, down, that's really an indication that we have a financial set point happening. If you are overspending. So if you receive money and you get rid of it really, really fast, if you are self sabotaging, any other big wins, right? If you keep self sabotaging, you keep pushing things away from you, that's usually where you have a financial set point. If you feel unsafe with money, unskilled with money, if you're feeling uncomfortable with money. So even like if you have a relationship with money where you avoid it, like you don't like to look at the numbers, maybe you avoid doing your money dates, maybe you avoid doing any type of financial reporting, like all of that is an indication that you feel uncomfortable and unsafe with. So if you want to be able to receive more, right, you want to increase your income this year, you maybe want to charge more, or you just want to hit higher milestones in your business? I would start here. I would start. What is your financial set point and what are the behaviors that you have around that financial set point that are keeping you stuck in that set point, right? So are you avoiding it? Are you overspending? Are you not respecting it? Are you not taking care of it, Are you not managing it, are you feeling uneducated in it? All of that relates to the way that you handle your money. So if you want to scale, right, you want to grow more, you want to receive more into your business, and this could also be be attached to numbers, other forms of numbers, not just money. Like, it could be the number of people that you like to serve, it could be the impact that you're making, it could be the number of people you have in your social media, what you feel most comfortable at with being seen, right? So all of that is really tied to your subconscious belief around the number and so what we want to do is actually look at your current financial comfort zone and the belief systems you have currently around your financial zone right now, your set point, where it is right now. And then look at, okay, where do we want it to be and what beliefs would we need to adopt, what beliefs would we need to step into, what behaviors would be to embody, what education do we need to have? Like, how do we want to feel around money in order for us to feel safe at that next level? Because at the moment it feels unsafe, right? So if we're sabotaging it, if we're avoiding it, there's something there that's making us feel unsafe, and that comes down to your current identity around your money. So we want to start looking at that and going, okay, what is true and what is not true? Your brain is always going to have this fear of like, the fear of the unknown, of like, we don't know what that's going to be like. And we, in your subconscious mind, then we'll sabotage you because you're like, oh, that feels uncomfortable and unsafe. So we then sabotage back down to our most comfortable, even though that is struggle, like, even if that's frustrating, even if you're like, I don't want to be at this point, I want to be receiving more money. But subconsciously you're like, but this feels comfortable and familiar, right? So we will always sabotage to go back to when we feel most safe. So what we want to do is at that next level financial set point, we want to make that feel safe and comfortable. So we want to find proof that it's going to be safe. We want to build in behaviors into our business so that we are taking care of our money and we're being kind to ourselves and recognizing where our nervous system is on the edge. And we do need to do the nervous system work in order for us to feel comfortable to embody that next level of wealth. So how do you determine what your current financial set point is? I would look at what you've currently been earning so far, and then I would look at where you want to go and start raising the income level. Right. So whether you work on monthly income numbers or whether you work on yearly income numbers doesn't matter either way, you've got to have a set point that feels comfortable and we want to go, okay, so if it's 150k for the year, if it's 250k, if it's 500k, if it's a million, whatever it is, whatever you've been able to achieve. I want you to just to take a moment just to reflect on how you currently feel about that amount of money. Right. You will notice, you feel comfortable with it. You will feel like, well, I've done it before, I know how to manage it, right. Or I've received it so I know it's possible. Then we want to start raising the number until you get to your edge. Until you get to the point where your body, your nervous system and you need to pay attention to that and you need to even have a relationship with your body. So if that feels really foreign, you're like, I don't know what you're talking about, Christine. We need to start first with, with getting to know how it feels to have that amount of money in your body. And so we start to raise the number. We go higher and we go, okay, so if 150k feels comfortable, what does 250k feel like? Okay, does that feel a little bit more comfortable? Yeah. Cool. That's doable. Amazing. What about 300k? What about 400k? What about 500k? And keep raising the number until you find your edge. Now your body will respond and your brain will respond. Your brain will respond with fear based thoughts. Your body will respond from a face place of sometimes fight or flight or just an uncomfortable feeling. And it's at that point you stop and you go, okay, why am I feeling that? What are the beliefs that I have about money that are causing me to respond in that way? And this is where our money mastery starts to come into play. Right? We need to do the identity work, we need to do the wealth money mindset work, we need to do new money habits, we need to really understand our nervous system expansion ability and we need to do the in the internal work. So the external results are having those upgrades that we want. If you're inside unstoppable sales or next level Mastermind, we're going to do this. So don't stress, just come to the sessions and we're going to dive into this which is going to be so much fun. If you want to work on this, reach out to me on Instagram and I will share with you your next best step to get started on this work.
