She outlines ten specific CEO habits: (1) reviewing data and numbers to gain confidence in where to invest time; (2) blocking non‑negotiable weekly sales time; (3) making decisions from a long‑term vision rather than the present; (4) protecting dedicated "CEO time" for strategic thinking and growth‑focused work; (5) regularly checking capacity to know when to say yes or no to clients; (6) defining the top three weekly priorities; (7) reviewing how time is actually spent to eliminate low‑value activities; (8) prioritizing visibility and authority building; (9) proactively planning revenue and cash‑flow for the next 3‑6 months; and (10) embodying the CEO identity through ongoing belief‑system work. Throughout, she weaves personal anecdotes about moving houses, promotes an upcoming 2026 Success Planning Day in Newstead, and mentions upcoming resources like a monthly CEO review and a capacity calculator. The episode ends with a call‑to‑action for listeners to DM her, follow on Instagram, and attend the event, reinforcing the message that intentional habits and self‑identity shape business results.

I'm recording in my new place after moving house, and gosh, you just never know how much time, energy, and effort it takes to move. Like, it is insane. I was living in my house in Brisbane for almost 10 years, and so then moving from there down to the Gold Coast actually seemed Easy, easy enough. But then this move, so I lived in the other house for like 12, 14 months or something, and then now just moving closer to the beach. It's so nice, I can literally walk out my front door and walk to the beach. It's so good. But this move just was a pain in the ass. Like, it actually— I had to go stay with my sister in between for a week because my place wasn't ready, and it was just such a like shemozzle, like getting out of the old place and then getting into the new place, and there's still a whole bunch of stuff that needs to be done here at the new place. Like, Anyway, fun times, hey? I can't believe we're the middle of February already. Like, middle of Feb. How are you feeling? Are you on track? Are you feeling like you've got shit sorted? Or are you feeling already behind? If you're feeling a little bit behind, I get it. I feel you. And you're probably not the only person feeling that way. But one of the biggest things I will say to you, and the reason why I wanted to do this episode today, is that clarity will always give you the purpose and the next steps in order for you to feel like you're on top of things. And usually when we are feeling behind, it's usually because we're unclear on what we need to be focused on. Or we're focused on in the wrong places. So we're focused on comparison. We're looking at other people instead of focused in our own lane. So I thought I would do an episode on the 10 CEO habits that can help you increase your revenue. And these are really just CEO habits that you need to be really adopting on a regular basis, ideally to support your scaling. Right? So if you really want to scale this year, then really identifying and measuring your CEO habits will actually support you to achieve that next level of success that you're wanting, because at this next stage of growth, it's actually your leadership. That means all the difference, right? And it's sometimes doing the things that you have been avoiding or been putting off. And it's one of the things that'll actually move the needle first is the measurement piece, like measuring your focus, your time, your energy, your investments, like everything to support your growth and making sure that you're making decisions, decisions to where you want to be rather than from where you are. So I want to map out 10 of those habits that I love to embed into my business journey and also love to teach my clients to do as well. And if you are in Brisbane, you're listening to this this week and you are in Brisbane, you'd love to really get a CEO plan together. So you've got that clarity to know what to focus your time, energy, and money on. Then you've still got time to grab a ticket to the 2026 Success Planning Day, which is happening in Newstead at Newstead Studios on the 20th, which is Friday from 9:00 till 3:00 PM. And lunch is included and you get beautiful time networking with other incredible women. But you'll get my eyes on your business and we'll be mapping out your next level CEO strategy. So come along. I'd love to see you. Grab your ticket ASAP before they close off, uh, because I've got to obviously order the food. So tickets will close off in 2 days' time, which will be the Wednesday. So, so let's dive into the 10 CEO habits that increase your revenue without having to work harder or burning yourself out. Because I think sometimes when it comes to scaling, our brain goes straight to, oh my God, it's going to be a lot more hard work. And honestly, that's actually where you need to be first addressing your attention, because it's actually not more about working harder, it's about making sure that you're focused on the right things and you're measuring what's working and what's not working so you can continue to focus on the right things. So number 1, start with the data. Review your numbers. If you do not know your numbers because you've been avoiding them or you're just actually not sure what to look at, then you need to start here. You need to get across this to the point where you're so confident of knowing what's coming in, what's going out, right through to everything from your leads, your conversions, right through to your data, what your social media is telling you, getting really clear on where you're getting closer to your goals or further away from them, right? Your data will tell you so much that will give you the clarity and confidence to know where to spend your time for best results. So if you're not really sure where to spend your time, I'm actually in the middle of creating a monthly CEO review to support you with knowing what to look at and what to measure and what to come back to on a regular basis in order to support your decisions in your business. So keep an eye out, check out the link in the show notes. If it's not there today, it'll be there by the end of the week. CEO habit number 2, blocking non-negotiable time for sales every week. Now, this one always gets a bit of pushback from people that I work with, right? And the reason for it is because if you are not selling consistently, then you cannot expect consistent sales in your business. Secondly, I don't mean being salesy, right? So what I mean by this is allocating time in your calendar to focus on sales activities, right? So whether it be following up with past conversations, generating new conversations, whether it means sharing your offer, sharing your lead magnet, Really focused on what's actually going to drive conversions in my business. And if you are not allocating time for that every single week, it's most likely causing inconsistency in your income. So block it out and make sure it happens. Because this type of stuff is not just for when you're quiet and need to bring clients in. If you're having inconsistent income in your business, it's usually because you're putting this off only to when you need clients and you're getting stuck in desperation and selling from a place of desperation instead of actually just generating conversations. And focusing on building relationships. When you are building relationships, you're able to bring in new clients on a consistent basis without feeling salesy at all, because you're not coming from a place of desperation or scarcity. You're actually just furthering the conversation. CEO habit number 3, making decisions from your long-term vision. So this is really growth-focused activities, right? Because if you're really keen to scale, you cannot keep making decisions from where you are now. You've got to make them from where you want to be. So taking a moment to actually ask yourself, am I making decisions from where I want to be versus where I am now? And asking yourself what needs to change, what needs to happen, what are the decisions I need to make now in order to support where I want to be in 6 months, 12 months, 5 years' time? Which then brings me to CEO habit number 4, protecting your CEO time. Now, this is more than just spending some time thinking about your long-term vision, but it is definitely a part of that, right? I have allocated time in my calendar every single week for CEO time. This is not business admin time. Okay, I just want to highlight that. When we are just doing business admin in CEO time, we're not moving the business forward, right? You've really got to think about your creativity and how you spend your time thinking about your next focus, your next move in your business, right? So this is where I get stuck into getting really clear on who my ideal client is, sitting with that and determining what is it that they want and need right now from me? How can I further serve them? How can I add value to them? Right? And then I'm thinking about my long-term goals of like really where I want to be and what needs to actually happen in order for me to get there. So my CEO time could be working on those growth-focused activities in order to bring something to life. Right? So bring something new, a new program to life, bringing a new event to life, really thinking about spending time on the growth-focused activities, which means things that aren't necessarily gonna make you money now, but are gonna make you money in the future, right? Protect your CEO thinking time, because without that time, you end up feeling stressed, overwhelmed, and so stuck in doing stuff in your business instead of really moving the needle from a place of alignment. Okay. CEO habit number 5, checking your capacity to see where you can say yes to clients and where you need to say no to clients. So this, depending on style of business that you have, like it's really good to know in the back of your mind, when do I have capacity to bring in the next client? Because then that will inform your sales activities. It also keeps you focused on what needs to happen in order to move your business forward. Whereas often we get some— sometimes, especially if you're like a creative or someone that spends a lot of time in delivery and client work, we can get caught up in just being so busy and overwhelmed doing the actual thing versus planning and prepping for when we're going to bring the next client on. And then you get to the point where you're like, oh shit, I've got to bring another client on because your income's dipping. And then you start selling from a place of desperation. Whereas if you're across this, removes any need for people pleasing. It removes any need for urgency. It removes any need for questioning, doubting. Like, you actually are so clear on your capacity, and it gives you a level of certainty which makes you feel calm and at ease, so you can actually run your business and be proactive versus reactive. CEO habit number 6: get clear on what the top 3 priorities are that you want to complete in that week ahead. So I usually look at this from a weekly perspective and be like, what are the 3 things that I need to complete? Right? So we're staying productive versus just procrastinating or staying being busy. Right? I'm always clear on like, what are the 3 things that need to be completed by the end of the week? And that keeps me really focused in the in-between times that I'm not coaching clients, that I'm actually working on completing those things to be able to add more value to my audience and to my people. Right? Because without that, things don't happen. Things don't move forward. So for instance, like this week I'm working on my new resource, my CEO monthly review. And then I'm also working on finishing the recording for the capacity calculator that I created. I did a masterclass on it last week and I wanna re-record just a little session on how to utilize the calculator so I can start using that as a lead magnet. So that has to be completed this week. And then I'm also onboarding a new team member. So I obviously need to complete that as well in depth, right? And so I'm redoing my onboarding document in order to support that onboarding process. So then it's also updated for the next time that I do an onboarding. So just get really clear, what are the 3 priorities that I have to complete this week in order to support my business moving forward? Okay. Number 9 is reviewing your time. Where are you spending your time? What's actually working and what's not working? This is so, so key because we can get so caught up doing all the things that months can go by before we've actually reviewed whether we've actually produced something, like something has come to an outcome, a result, or that we've just ended up wasting time on things that we should not be spending our time on. Are you spending your time on CEO-level activities, or are you spending your time on stuff that needs to be, to be delegated, outsourced, or just not even on your plate? Reviewing your time and where your time is best spent. This is so incredibly important and obviously gets left because we get busy. So this is one thing I would absolutely suggest you focus on ASAP if you feel like you're losing time in your week or you feel like you're not progressing. CEO habit number 8, prioritizing visibility and authority building. Now, this is one of the things that often can impact your sales activities, because if you haven't been visible and then all of a sudden you jump on, you need to sell, it can affect people's response to you. And being visible is like your open door, right? Like, if you think about having a brick-and-mortar store, how do people know that you're available to spend money with? The door's open, right? There's an open sign. So if you're an online business, how are you creating opportunities for visibility so that people can see you as an option to choose? So prioritizing visibility allows you to be seen as the leader, as the go-to in your industry. So I want to tie this with Authority, right? So how are you building authority and presenting yourself as an option for people to spend money with? So I would be prioritizing your visibility, thinking about where are your ideal clients spending time and how can I get in front of them? And how do I add value and position myself as the leader in the industry? Spending time in this area will help support every other part of your business. And so if you feel like that's lacking, schedule it into your calendar and make it happen. CEO habit number 9. This is going beyond your, reviewing your data, obviously needing to know your numbers, but I like to proactively plan my revenue ahead of time, right? Know your cash flow, be across all your business expenses, like do all of your numbers, right? But proactively plan your revenue. So what I mean by that is like knowing what you're going to sell and when, what's coming in and when. So looking ahead of time, I need to know and project my cash flow, project, project my revenue over the next 3 to 6 months. Because then I can see where the dips are and I can also see when I can take on new clients. And I also can see like, what do I need to plan out? Like with my launch processes, they're planned so well in advance, right? So the whole year is mapped out of what I'm launching and when I'm launching it. Instead of just hoping things will happen, I'm also setting my sales systems in place. So what am I going to be selling? When am I going to be selling it? And how am I going to be selling it? So planning this out proactively will leave you feeling less reactive in your business. And then number 10, Acting like the CEO, right? Obviously planning out your CEO time is obviously crucial, but your identity work that comes along with that is absolutely essential. So how do you see yourself in your business? Do you see yourself as a leader? Do you see yourself as a CEO? How are you acting and behaving in your business? That will absolutely show you whether you are being the CEO or whether you're not, right? So the CEO shouldn't be spending time doing all the bits and pieces every single day just to maintain the business. So you wanna think about how are you leading your team? How are you leading your audience? How are you creating authority in the space? How are you running your business? Are you running your business proactively? Are you running it reactively? Who are you being? How do you view yourself? How do you speak to yourself? How do you drive your— drive momentum within your business? Your identity is so connected to your results. And so I'm always doing the identity work to really look at like, where am I holding myself back? Where am I playing small? Where am I allowing myself to get out of my comfort zone? Where am I challenging myself to grow? Because if you are always doing the same thing you've always done, you'll always get the same result you've always got, right? And so I've always got to be looking ahead and challenging myself. So that's where I'll be listening to other podcasts or having conversations with mentors, and I'm challenging myself and my belief systems about who I am as a person and what I believe I'm capable of. Because I guarantee you are creating results based on who you believe you are. Right? Like, you are absolutely creating results based on who you believe you are currently. And so if you keep believing who you are currently, you'll keep creating the same results. I know that's repetitive, but sometimes I need to repeat it a couple of times in order for your brain to capture it. And so you wanna think about like, who am I becoming? And how am I leaning into that person? How am I challenging myself to think differently and be different? Right? So when you think about different areas or different labels you give yourself within your business, I want you to ask yourself like, What are the belief systems I currently have around that label? So if you're a coach, you ask yourself like, how do I view myself as a coach? How do I view myself as a business owner? How do I view myself as a founder? How do I view myself as the leader in the industry? And I guarantee you there'll be belief systems wrapped around that that is causing similar behavior, right? And so you want to ask yourself like, is that self-sabotaging my next level? What's a new identity belief that I could have about myself that would challenge me to step up and be this next level version that I really want to be? That's the deep identity work that needs to happen in order for you to create and impact everything else that we've just mentioned. Like, all the other habits will be impacted by what you currently believe about who you are as a person and who you are as a leader, who you are as a business owner. This is work that I'm doing on a regular basis. Every single Friday, I'm sitting down with myself and going, how did I show up this week? How did I lead? How did I challenge myself? How did I view myself as the business owner? Was I just phoning it in? Was I just going through the motions or was I stepping up and leading? Was I challenging myself? And sometimes I need to listen to someone like Tony Robbins or Alex Hormozi or someone that's way further ahead in advance than where I am in business in order to challenge the way that I'm thinking and how I'm being and the actions that I'm taking in my business. And that calls me forward, right? So I want you to ask yourself that. That's that deep identity work we need to be doing in order to challenge the way that we're showing up in our business. So I hope this episode has served you to really think about the CEO habits that you currently have in your business. And maybe there's a few here that you need to adopt.
