CL Palmer explains how obsessing over the method blocks what you want. Set a clear intention for the outcome, not the vehicle that delivers it. A $500 example shows how Person A resonates with the result while Person B gets stuck on the job or person that might bring it.

You could be blocking yourself from everything that you want if you don't understand resonance. Resonance is when two vibrations perfectly match. You hit the note, everything on that note vibrates along with it. That's a connection. So when it comes to resonance, you gotta make sure you understand the difference between precision and limitations. Precision sets the frequency for the universe to resonate with. Limitations are interference because you are wanting to control the path of the frequency. Here's an example. You need $500. Person A says, I need $500 to come in through all of my opportunities and efforts. Person B says, I need to pick up extra shifts so I can get another $500. The difference is Person A is resonating much more with the money, while Person B is resonating with the work and the struggle that's associated with it. And that's the whole science of it. You cannot resonate with the destination when you are obsessed with the vehicle. So when you say that something has to come through a person, a job, or a place, you are shutting down what they call sympathetic resonance. That means you are blocking other possibilities from existing, like getting a class action lawsuit check in the mail, or a surprise opportunity that calls you on the phone, or your homeboy calling you up that hit the lottery and saying, hey bro, I got $500 for you right now. You are telling the universe, I do not resonate with anything else. So what I need you to do is be precise about the things that you are asking for. But be open to the ways that it can come in. Because the thing that you are calling in wants to come through the path of least resistance. So let's resonate with that result and not the struggle to get there.
