Diane turned a tough interview question around by checking the interviewer's LinkedIn, spotting their own career changes, and saying "I want a career like yours." It shifted the focus from defending her move to admiring theirs, making them reflect on their own path instead of questioning hers.

I heard the best interview comment from Diane. I listened to an interview she did and I was giving her feedback on that, one of our clients, and she used the best line. I was like, oh Diane, that is so good. When the interviewer asked her, why are you hopping from your previous career to now this career move? And she told the interviewer, she said, you know, I took a look at your LinkedIn profile and I saw that you have made several career transitions and I said, I want a career like him. Mhm. And now the conversation has changed from, why are you changing? To, I wanna be like you. And now if he's questioning, why are you making career moves? Are you able to do it? He just has to look in the mirror and say, oh wait, I've done the exact same thing.
