A short YouTube talk advising teams that will shift to remote work to maintain trust and relationships by holding a regular (recommended: Monday morning) non-work "huddle". The huddle is described as a quick video-call where each person has ~3 minutes to check in about how they feel (not about tasks), intended to preserve connection and team trust.

Hey, everyone. Had a thought about what Monday might look like for a lot of people. A lot of people are used to going to an office or going to a place of work, and starting Monday, going to be working from home for the foreseeable future. This puts a lot of strain on relationships, our work relationships, because one of the things that makes us get along and builds teams and trust is our interaction. So really, really strongly recommend starting a huddle, especially on Monday morning when everybody will not be going to work. Basically, huddle is really easy. Get on a zoom room or some other platform that you like and have the whole team.
On the call and just go around and give everybody three minutes to just check in, say how they're feeling, say what's on their heart and mind. It's not about work. Checking in a huddle is not about work. It's not about discussing projects or to do lists. You can do that at another call at another time. But establish a habit of every single Monday, getting everyone online and looking at each other on a screen and checking in and telling people how you feel. It'll help you stay connected. It helps maintain trust and helps maintain relationships. Good luck, everyone. Take care of yourselves and take care of each other. Bye.
