Here's how to meet people at the companies you want to work for that I know you haven't tried yet. So here's how you do it. As I've said many times, applying on online applications is a really ineffective way to land a job. And so one of the ways to skip spraying out your application is to meet people at the company. You may have sent them emails saying, "Hey, can I have an informational interview?" And then just never heard back. So just let's say I wanted to be a product manager, and so I reach out to product managers at all the companies that I'm interested in working at, then ask to interview them for an article. You can ask them multiple questions, or just one question where it's a roundup article where you've asked 12 different product managers, what's your favorite app and why? Then push this article out on LinkedIn or Medium, and you are now helping them with their personal branding, and you've started the conversation with them. So now you're building a relationship. I've helped thousands of people land jobs. Follow here and on YouTube. You've got this. Wi-Fi high five.
