This YouTube motivational short (by Clegg, uploaded Oct 3, 2023) encourages listeners to let go of their past identity, forgive past events, and treat past experiences as a platform for future possibility rather than a place to live. The speaker frames suffering as a crucible that can introduce people to greatness and urges a leap into a 'heroic future.'

For you to embrace your next level of world class. You have to let go of everything you used to be. Forgive past events they served you. And if you look at the great ones, the icons and the true heroes, they have suffered more than most people. And the suffering introduced them to their greatness. Let go of the past and leap into your heroic future. The past is a servant, and it's a place to learn from, not a home to live in.
