You know, all four members of Aerosmith are worth more than a hundred million dollars. Didn't have to sing a single song, sell a T shirt, go on the road. It was this one thing. Guitar Hero. The band brilliantly licensed 25 of their songs to Activision. When Guitar Hero became one of the biggest video games out there, Aerosmith made more than $25 million in the first launch. That quickly became $100 million plus. They understood that the ability for a game to create something once and sell it continuously would make them way richer than them having to go on the road and take the expenses. The moral of this story is if you have something and you can find a way to apply licensing to it where other people can push out your product instead of having you be the only distributor, that's how you make money while not having to do the work. Aerosmith now is one of the highest ranking bands of all time. Despite being here on the charts, that's nowhere near the top. And Steven Tyler, he's worth More than 150 million. Some say 200 million.
