Weird realization. Before God elevates you, he clears the room. Doors are going to close. People you trusted are going to be distant. Rooms you used to pray you would get into, you're not even going to get invited anymore. And I've realized you didn't do anything wrong. It's not a punishment. It's actually preparation for what is required because preparation requires separation. So it feels hard before growth. I think if I could give you some advice, it'd be to stop chasing what's leaving, what's comfortable. If they're moving out of your life, he's removing something that's in your way and maybe protecting what's actually coming. So are you being pushed away or are you being lifted? And I think what God lifts and what God clears, he always protects. And that's what I remind myself when it's hard and everything feels like too much. And maybe I don't feel like I'm getting my way.
