Just bought a video production company for $0. Here's how. And here's how. This company also helped me get to my first couple million in subscribers. Basically I was using this company Viral Cuts for video and video was costing me 10k a month for short form video content. We were growing like crazy so we used vendors like that. Then I looked at my P and L and realized some of my biggest expenses were from short term video editing. So I actually reached out to the CEO of this company, Hunter at viralcuts and I was like, I love the videos that you guys do. What if I take a percentage of your company and I talk to my audience and I get not equity in the company but I want monthly distributions as a percentage of total sales because this company might never sell for crazy venture capital multiple. If I don't grow your business at all through my audience expansion, you don't give me any equity and I just keep whatever percentage of sales I've gotten thus far. So it's basically a win win for you. This is my answer to buying a business for $0 and then using something that used to be a liability and turning it into an asset.
