How To Become The Top 1%

The top 1%. Nearly all share the same understanding that the greatest muscle you can build is urgency. How you shrink your timelines. I've become friends with a guy by the name of Bill Perkins. We've invested a bunch of deals together. He wrote a book called Die with Zero. Big hedge fund manager, manages a couple billion dollars in his hedge fund. When I asked him once on a walk with him, I'm like, why do you think that you've been so successful in so many different ways? Like you have a multi billion dollar hedge fund. You and I have both done a couple of deals that you know are worth eight or nine figures. Why do you keep winning? And he's like, I don't think I'm smarter than anybody else. I move faster than anybody else. By the time somebody has an idea, I have already taken action, done the thing, made three mistakes, and found a better way. These people, even if they're smarter and richer, they can't compete with my speed because I learn so much faster than they do by taking action. Your bank account is a direct reflection of how fast you move and that the faster you move, the more money you will make.
