I wish I knew this before buying my 1st business... #shorts

So I've bought and sold 66 businesses, built a couple eight figure and two seven figure businesses, and now own 26 boring businesses. Oh my God. But I have never ever, ever in all my years of being in business done a customer pull. Your job is to delight and surprise your customers, not meet their lowest expectations. If you have to pull them to figure out what they want, you're doing it wrong. And number two is replicate before you innovate. The first mover advantage is often fake because the faster mover who learned from the first mistakes is not always the latter long term benefactor. So the first Indians go the arrows a reason. That's why to go build your empire, don't ask for opinions and don't feel like you have to be first execute on what you think you should do. That's the secret. I wish I knew in the beginning.
