Codie Sanchez outlines three steps to build wealth from nothing: list contacts who run companies, ask what problems they need solved and offer to solve them for pay, then scale those gigs until you can afford to outsource and invest.

If I had $0 to my name, here's what I'd do. 1. I'd sit down with an Excel spreadsheet, write in every name I can think of in my phone. Who runs a company or leads a team. I'd start reaching out to them, and I'd ask them what problems they need to solve. I'd listen, and when I heard one that I thought I could solve, like we need more sales, more cold callers, more people to write content, I'd ask them if they'd hire me to solve that problem. And three. I'd keep doing that until the problems and the pay got bigger. Until I had enough money to let someone else call me to solve my problems. Moral of the story? You don't invest your way to wealth. You work your way there. Then you let your wealth work for you.
