Codie Sanchez breaks down the "do once, sell continuously" model: create content that is your product, feature your product in your content, and let referrals do the work. People recommend you only when you give more than you take.

The greatest business model of all time is one where you do something once and that one action allows you to sell continuously, right? I always picture it like a water wheel, and it would be a really bad water wheel if every time you wanted water you had to push the thing. Ideally, the content that you're putting out in the world is part of the thing that you sell, and the thing that you sell you actually cover and use in more of your content, and the content actually goes back to the thing that you sell. And instead of feeling like you're doing infomercials every day, it is this beautiful flywheel between the two. Because what is the best way to grow a business? Always number one way, if you had to choose. Referrals. Referrals. It's that somebody says something nice about your shit, and they're not going to do that if their one experience with you feels like you're taking more than you're giving.

He wouldn't give you the dream if he didn't believe you had what it takes. You have what it takes.
