So he told me there's only really 3 ways to have real money. 3. 1, you get it gifted to you, and that ain't gonna happen to you, honey, he told me, so move on. 2, you marry someone rich, and you're probably not gonna love what he looks like or what he does to keep the money flowing. That wasn't for me either. Dad was right on all accounts. Half of marriages end anyway. That's like a coin flip, not a plan. And then he told me 3, make the money yourself. Sure, it's the hardest of the 3. It's also the most rewarding the only one where you actually are in charge of your outcome. So that's the secret. Make your own money, then you get to choose your own life, and then you actually pick somebody you want to marry because you want them, not because you need them.
