Codie Sanchez, who has hired over 50 CEOs, breaks down nine traits that separate winners from failures. They avoid people with strong opinions on everything and skip the myth that reading a book a week makes you productive.

Hired 50 plus CEOs in my career and what I've realized that there's a few things that mean all the difference between a winner and a failure. I'm going to share. 9. 1. Most people are focused on impressing people not being impressive. 2. People earn better and faster when they're doing it for fun as opposed to requirement. 3. Unless you try to be the best you won't even be good. 4. Be really careful about people who have strong opinions on everything. 5. Most people who fail it's because they think other people owe them something. Nobody owes you anything. 6. You would be 5x more successful if you replace the word should with will. 7. If you become big enough some percentage of the population is going to hate you no matter what. 8. It's a lie. Nobody who's doing serious things reads a book a week and nine. Even fewer have TikTok or Instagram so stop scrolling start getting shit done.
