First deal, I did everything wrong. I overpaid, ran it myself. It was a job, not a business. But now I look at five key things. One is, will it bankrupt me? Two is, does it have enough cash flow for me to be meaningful? I don't want to do a deal if it's going to make me 2k a year. It's probably not worth it. 3 is this business, am I paying a multiple on profits? And it's anywhere from 2 to 5x. That's just what I pay for small businesses because I know for a small business I can get my money back in two years. It's a pretty low risk. And then the next one is like, is it really simple? Do I understand the business because I'm not intelligent enough to run a biotech company? I call it sows, which is simple, bold, weak and stale businesses. I want them to be super simple to understand around for a while so that I know they're going to continue to stay around. Weak competition and stale. In that like this website sucked. There was no marketing, so I don't have to be the best deal maker because the business is so much upside optimization. So that's how you know.
