Codie Sanchez argues that prayer and worry cannot happen at the same time. When you pray, you hand your fear to a higher power and get hope back. She recommends trying it next time you're overwhelmed.

I love this line. You can't worry and pray at the same time, because pray is all about hope and worry is all about fear, and your mind can't handle those two things at once. So every time you're thinking about something and it's stressing you out inside and you feel that feeling in your gut where you just can't handle it anymore, I at least try a little bit of prayer, because it turns that worry into a little bit of hope and it lets me hand off the fear to somebody else, whoever that is, universe, your God. But maybe try a little bit more praying. I think the world can use more of that. Just a thought.

He wouldn't give you the dream if he didn't believe you had what it takes. You have what it takes.
