We Suffer More In Imagination Than Reality

Codie Sanchez argues that fear lives in imagination, not reality. Confidence isn't something you have before you act, it's what you earn after you prepare and move. Inaction breeds doubt; action breeds confidence.

It was Seneca that said, "We suffer more in our imagination than reality." Dale Carnegie said, "Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage." Fear actually only exists where preparation and action don't. You're not scared because you're incapable. You're scared because you haven't earned certainty yet. And the part that most people don't like is you don't get confidence before the work. You get it after.
